Again
Again, as some other users have said, it looks like it is UK based, but it isn't.
Bought a ski helmet, price looking attractive. Even though it does state "plus custom duties" this is cleverly placed AFTER "incl. tax, free shipment" printed in red, while the former follows that information in low key grey.
Apart from that, I choose to pay "14 days after delivery" as offered by PayPal, only to receive an email from them a fortnight later, informing me that "to inform you that your order is still in progress. There are several reasons for the delay: it happens quite often that articles are sold out in the meantime and we have to wait for the reorder at the manufacturer to arrive at our warehouse. Or we didn't receive you payment... "
Which is rather vague to say the least. Rushed to Paypal to settle the bill an informing Expozzed if they don't accept payment after posting the ordered item to make PayPal aware of this to avoid confusion and unnecessary delay.
Of course, eventually, received notification from "parcelforce" that I would have to settle tax before delivery (wasn't even the courier service exposed mentioned). After all that hassle I ended up paying 10% more than I would have paid buying the item from a british based retailer (e.g. Alpinetreck)
I would leave exposed where they are... on the continent (had similar experience with them before Brexit but unfortunately forgot) because they deceive their customers. Stating "including taxes and..." what "taxes" are they referring to? Certainly not VAT, because this will be paid in the country where the customer is based. Anything else would be unlawful.
