I gave 3 stars only because if you rate lower, no one seems to read or respond. Honestly, I wish there was an option for negative ratings, like -5 stars. I don’t believe there are any real humans in... See more

Scam

Scam. took 28.99 for eligibility check (non-refundable), that asked for another $42 (without guarantee of unlocking) . I haven't paid, who knows what else they will ask after. Reply from customer service is BS. Please be careful and do your due diligence before paying them. I learned my lesson ))))

Never unlocked my phone

Never unlocked my phone, charge £40 for the privilege of waiting a month to find out they couldn't unlock then have a credit note! What use is that. DO NOT USE. I looked at reviews on their site which are positive, must be fake!

Scam company purporting to be O2

Scam company purporting to be O2. The site takes a payment implying that they will send the unlock code by return.
This is not the case, you will then receive a second email requesting a further payment of nearly £40 to release the code. The email has no return address. All you can do is track the order.
They refer to terms and conditions which ARE NOT displayed on the site.
Scam.

TOTAL FRAUD!!!

I mistakenly signed up for ExpressUnlock before looking at reviews. I was trying to get my wife's Boost Mobile phone unlocked and paid ExpressUnlock. After a week, they said they could not do it and would give me a credit (not a refund) on a Premium service that would probably do the trick. That sounded fishy so I called Boost and they unlocked the phone for free.
ExpressUnlock is a TOTAL FRAUD with no intension of providing unlocking services

RIP OFF

They offered to unlock my iphone for ,including vat, for £11+, so I went for it over the air system,10 minutes later I received a message that my iphone was unlocked but I needed to send a further £26 before they completed the unlocking, I was shocked but I paid simply because I really needed my phone up and running- sadly more than a weeek later it still isn't working, I took it to a phone shop costing a further £20, lost all my data- my phone is still locked, I have proof of all the above.

Same as others

Same as others. They will try and double charge. You once to “check” the again to “unlock” who knows if they acutally unlock your device

Ideal two Stage Fraud and Scam

Ref: 866034052570928 - Unable to issue codes. Unfortundately, Rating has gone bad to worest. As no from Express Unlock seems to bother to reply. Now it seems like a scam where they dont have anyone to reply to customer. It seems like two stage fraud, first where they seems to confirm unlock is doable and second to unlock and finally if they are unable to unlock and give you a credit note instead of full refund. I would aspect full refund and also want all users to also review customer comments before ending suffering.

Ouch

Ouch. I'm normally brighter than this but didn't read the small print. Thought the £23.99 was to unlock the phone. Turns out it's isn't. Bit annoyed at myself for letting a crap company like this do me over.
Please avoid.

I wish that I had read the reviews

I wish that I had read the reviews before submitting a request for an unlock code. As with the other people's feedback, process entirely mis-leading as the quote is actually for an IMEI report not the actual unlock code for which you have to pay 3 x the price. No option to unsubscribe from the subsequent email reminders (a GDPR contravention), I was going to complain to them but based upon other reviews I won't bother.

I bought this service about 3 days ago

I bought this service about 3 days ago. I paid the first system, before it turned out that it was not blacklisted. when he paid for the second time, they gave a 5-day process with a percentage value. The problem is that that percentage does not progress at all. I have concerns about whether my phone will turn on or not. I don't trust this site for now, that's why I awarded 1 star. I sent 2 e-mails, no response.

unlocking a cell phone

Amount of cash required went up and up. I got a message saying phone would be unlocked in approx 9 days, (the advertising said as little as 30 minutes).
No reply to the messages I sent.
I believe I have been scammed!
Keith Matthews NZ
Further to the above, the company has advised that the phone cannot be unlocked, and a credit has been issued!
They are in fact a good company, but they do charge a lot.

deceiving

In my case i have to say it was useless. After few weeks where my unlock was not moving forward i wrote and got a reply. Then after few more weeks i wrote again and had the exact same email. I suspect it's an automatic reply, nobody is there to provide an ad-hoc feedback. Then my process moved to priority and has been there at 99% (imminent)! for more than 4 weeks.

This is a total scam

This is a total scam, stay away. Paid £23.99 for the service of unlocking my old iPhone 6. Received an email half an hour after paying saying it was confirmed my phone COULD be unlocked and to finalise the process, I had to pay another £27.99! There was no clear mention of this 2nd payment on the home page, but under their "why am I being asked to pay this?" link it reads "please note section 7.3 of the terms and conditions which you ticked to sign prior to purchase". They are taking massive advantage of people knowing full well that if the upfront cost of £50+ to unlock an old phone was clear, no one would do it. I tried calling the contact number, but it does not exist, and I have had no reply to my emails to them.
