The treatment was complete in an hour, and it has made a tremendous difference to my life. Normality has been resumed!

Having suffered with hemorrhoids for a number of years and had three conventional treatments with the NHS all of them failed and the next step would be going under the knife I decided to give exroid a try.
I had significant hemorrhoids grade three and grade four so I knew that I would probably have to have more than one treatment but even after one treatment I felt significantly better and symptoms had improved a lot. I decided to go for a second treatment and that has helped even more. I won't say that the procedure was pain-free it was uncomfortable but nowhere near as uncomfortable as having prolapsed flare up at the most inconvenient times usually.
Dr Akhtar and his lovely staff made me feel at ease and talked me through what was happening. They were honest and helpful and realistic regarding the predicted outcome. I received a follow-up call today and I have left it that I'm happy with my symptomatic improvements so far and I'm going to continue doing what Dr Akhtar advised me to do and see if the improvement continues and if not they've lift the door open for me to call them if I have concerns or wish to in the future have further treatment.

Beyond BEYOND. And six weeks of manual every day. The Colorectal department in my hospital couldn't see me for 4 months! Time to use the rainy day money! Harley Street and a substantial sum for one hour investigation and treatment of my chemotherapy-induced haemorrhoids. Its common so I was told. AN hour later I left eXroid painfree and with a different laxative to try, too. The doctor and nurse were kindness itself. I could have sobbed with relief there and then . I haven't stopped being grateful.

Excellent professional staff from initial phone call to medical treatment and aftercare follow-up. I had a severe case and to date four treatments. As far as I know I am the only patient who has needed to have the procedure done via a general anaesthetic in Belfast. I'm extremely grateful to Exroid, specifically Ross, for making the arrangements for this unorthodox treatment!

My husband had a horrendous experience with treatment from this company. Worst pain he has ever experienced in his life (and this is a man who has dental treatment without anaesthetic, he is NOT a wuss). Treatment was in Raynes Park which they advertise as Wimbledon. The doctor rents a room there. He should have been referred for surgery and told that this treatment was not suitable for his severity of haemorrhoids. Please, please do your homework before putting yourself through this clinic. You will likely need up to three treatments so budget accordingly, although you will only realise this later. It is not a quick fix. This treatment is not suitable for more severe cases.

A very professional and discreet service with well trained staff and assistants. I have been back a couple of times but each progressive visit has made noticeable improvements.

Booking is easy , straightforward and choice of centres to go. Attended Dewsbury clinic, very professional, chatty and felt in safe hands. Very knowledgable operator (colorectal surgeon) so he knew his stuff.
Did this solve the problem, so far so good but be prepared to have a second or third session as I needed 2 but only had one so consequently had 2 sessions 3 years later. Now very pleased.

I was advised it could take more than one treatment because of my type of haemorrhoids .
Over two years I’ve had three treatments and one consultation at Harley Street and Winchester by skilled and respected colorectal surgeons who put me at ease and carried out painless with minimal discomfort reduction of my haemorrhoids . There were no after effects.
I have no hesitation in recommending this procedure as an alternative to other methods and am very grateful to both highly skilled surgeons who were able to reassure and carry out the treatment.

After years of complaining to my unhelpful GP I sought out other treatment options and came across eXroid. I booked online without any hassle and had an appointment within days. I attended the Salford clinic. My consultation and appointment in total took about an hour, everything was explained well and I had the treatment which was straight forward. I felt relief within a short time. Within 48 hours the pain and itching had stopped and here I am a month on, symptomless after one treatment. If I’m ever troubled again I won’t think twice about booking in as I see it as money well spent.

I opted for the Electrotherapy treatment with eXroid which is a non-surgical procedure for haemorrhoids that are treated within Grades 1-4. This means you can go back to your usual activities on the same day, while other treatments can have longer recovery as they’re often surgical, like banding for example.

In my experience, I had multiple treatments, it is very dependent on each persons case for how many you would need, however, your doctor will describe exactly your symptoms to you so you will know what to expect.

I experienced no pain at all, I did make sure I took time off work, just to rest in general, I did that for myself as anything strenuous after treatment can negatively effect you. So no heavy lifting or squatting, crouching etc…

The treatment for each pile can range from 5-10 mins, depending on size. You will feel slight discomfort during the procedure, and in my case no pain at all after.

Instantly I could see the effects the treatment had. I’d say the most important thing after is to have a high protein and high fibre diet, this again can really effect your treatment. I have found this to make a whole lot of a difference.

For any extra information, you will be chaperoned by a healthcare assistant who will take you to your doctor, you will discuss your symptoms with the doctor and they will check for those symptoms and decide if you actually need the treatment. In my case I needed a few.

Booking an appointment was simple and staff were so helpful and friendly.
I was seen in a couple of weeks and had a consultation and treatment on the same day and the best thing was I was examined and treated by a woman.

Everyone involved in the process was friendly and understanding. Some people could feel very uncomfortable but that could not be further from the truth. From the beginning to the end the appointment booking, the procedure , the follow up: everyone and everything was really simple. And it worked !!

My experience with eXroid was amazing from my first call till today.Had my treatment last month I have family history of hemorrhoid and I was suffering from it for more then 15 years. I tried different creams, steroids and herbal remedies but nothing worked. I found eXroid on google and to be very honest at first I was not sure about it and was in 2 minds to go for it or no.
Finally made my decision and went ahead with the treatment and trust me I don’t regret at all with my decision. In my case I had suffered from a chronic Anal fissure which after treatment healed up but I also developed some Grade 1 Haemorrhoids. Due to the combined effect of the two cases I was usually in a lot of pain. However, after my 1st treatment with Exroid in October, I have experienced a significant improvement.

I had been suffering from internal hemorrhoids for years. I previously had rubber band treatment, but the hemorrhoids returned after about 10 years and became extremely painful.

Efficient customer service, booking system and friendly staff. The procedure is non-invasive, worked well for a mild-to-moderate problem, solved my discomfort, and I am happy I went through with it. Would do it again if I had the same again.
