I called in to Winchester Eyesite as I had broken my specs. As expected they were beyond repair, but that didn't stop them trying ... First they tried to locate the same frame, then sought another frame on which they could re-size the lenses. In the end they went out to the back, found me a frame the same size, popped out my lenses and fitted the specs on me. They said having a frame the right size was a fluke, but what wasn't a fluke was their attitude - so friendly, helpful and genuinely committed to sorting my problem. Anyone else would have just tried to sell me a brand new prescription. I feel fortunate to have such a fantastic opticians - they are a truly remarkable team. Thank you!

Despite the name, Eyesite also do audiology and I had a hearing check-up with Pedro Pereira from South Downs Hearing in their office upstairs. I am pleased I chose this place, as Pedro is highly professional and competent and clearly knows his area very well. My hearing got a clean bill of health apart from general age-related matters.

This place is great - service and quality of testing and fitting is all good and there is an excellent range of quality frames including Lindberg. But best of all is the aftercare - twice in recent weeks I have been in with glasses that have fallen apart or been damaged and both times I have been welcomed and helped. They knew what to do, didnt keep me hanging around and fixed my pairs of glasses with no charge - fabulous service!

Twice I've been into Eyesite,Brighton, North Street and twice I've been amazed at the service.I bought glasses from an online company but needed adjustments so entered the Eyesite store.
All the staff are so friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble all being done without having to wait.
You can certainly teach other opticians how it should be done and all I can say is thankyou, you're all brilliant!

Booked on Google reviews. My experience was very friendly, professional, great service, thorough assessments with accurate results. I especially appreciated only one qualified professional working with me through the entire journey and felt nothing was lost through change overs of staff. Compared to other exams which are conveyor belt type where you are passed from person to person through assessment. Holly carefully explained (verbal & visual) the test, results, answered all my questions and helped me understand potential future conditions and needs. I will return as I trust them to assist with helping me with my eyesite.
