Great engine seller. We bought one completely remanufactured BMW engine. Good quality and fast shipping.

I HAVE BOUGHT A 1.8 LITERS ENGINE WITH CODE L813 WHICH LATER BEFORE I MADE THE DEPOSIT THEY GAVE ME A PRO-INVOICE WITH CODE L81Y. THEY TOLD ME THAT EVERYTHING IS GOOD.
HOWEVER, MY CAR MECHANIC, WHEN HE OPENED THE ENGINE, HE FOUND A GAP IN THE CRANKSHAFT, OIL THAT WAS BURNED LIKE BLACK PAINT ON THE CRANKCASE COVER. HE TOLD ME THAT THE ENGINE HAS AT LEAST 200,000 KM AND NOT 117,000 KM AS ADVERTISED. AND ANOTHER ONE TOLD ME THAT THERE IS A HIGH POSSIBILITY THAT THIS PARTICULAR ENGINE HAD OIL BELOW THE MIN MARK WHEN IT WAS RUNNING IN THE PAST. THE MECHANIC SAID THAT THEY TRIED TO CLEAN IT WITH DIESEL TO MAKE THE ENGINE LOOK CLEAN ON THE INTERIOR. IF I WANT TO BUY AN ENGINE FROM GYPSIES, I WOULD DEFINITELY CHOOSE FAIR-MOTORS.

For €3500 I expect a good tested engine, Delivered sealed ,

To send a engine open like this is totally unprofessional and then tell me to do your work

You are indeed the worst company I have ever been unfortunate to deal with

You have no morels and your replies are ridiculous and time wasting

I have read your reviews and can see you have tricked many customers

Your company is a disgrace to the motor trade

I ordered and payed upfront an rehauled car engine. after more than a month its still not there. They said they shipped the engine on Jan 15th but one month later no engine. Every mail they just said its because of the weather the snow and the road conditions. That instead of DB Shenker they go with Rhenus because of that. But then I discover the reviews on Rhenus that are absolutely nightmarish... Not on Monday they claimed that my order will be delivered the same day but by Friday it was still not there. I emailed them again and they just said its delivered, which is not true.
Finaly after one month I got my delivery and the engine seems ok but the experience was horrible, I complained days ago and they didn't even bother answering yet. I would not recommend

I finally got to see the engine and although it looks good it is useless because it is not the right model, not even close. I don't get these peoples logic, why not steal directly instead of sending a useless engine? Also It seems Trustpilot has hidden bad reviews because when I ordered Fair-motors was not to be found on the platform and now since I posted it is all here especially .de I wonder where is .fr because it is obvious that they should appear on trust pilot to with nightmarish reviews. I'm changing my 2 stars review to one star
Update March 3rd
Now I filed a complaint and they refuse to exchange the engine saying its been more than 5 days since delivery (we are talking about €3800 plus tax)

I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY (A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE) REASONS: 1_I have bought an engine from them and it has arrived with several past Crankcase threads, surface defects and the injector seals seized, they are supposed to remove them... (all this without notifying me at any time said defects)
2_ After resigning myself to fix the threads and the defects that the engine had, I realized that there was a difference with respect to the position of the pump of the old engine and the new one, the brake pump and the air pump could not be mounted, I complain to them again and they have told me to make new threads, to modify the engine...
3_THE attention leaves a lot to be desired, since the sale and the invoices are made in Spanish, but if there are problems (you can only talk to them by mail and in another language)
4_AT the time of making the purchase everything is very professional and documented but in case it has a defect they hinder the return process and put obstacles to the minimum, taking into account that the instructions for the return do not give them to you in Spanish (you have to use translator and assume that it is well translated...),
5_If you ask for the refund in case of engine defect, they deny it to you even if you have not mounted or used the engine. I COULDN'T WAIT ANOTHER MONTH TO RECEIVE THE ENGINE AND I ASKED FOR A REFUND, BUT NO WAY.
6_the return process is very long (I have been waiting more than 10 days since I made the first complaint to return the engine and my return has not even been processed).
7_I have had the possibility to compare with another provider at the same time, and I also had a defect, but in that case they have given me all the facilities in the world with the minimum of information (I have been able to talk to them by phone, they have offered me the refund or compensation etc.. but with this company the opposite is true (they don't pick up the phone, they send you the instructions for the return in another language, IT SEEMS THAT THEY ARE THE ONES WHO HAVE PAID FOR THE MOTOR...) 7_has a customer service number on the web, which is just annoying, because no one ever picks up. You tell them that you don't pick up the phone, and they answer that our schedule is from 9:00 to 12:00, that they don't have any lost and that they only know English and German..But on the page he puts another schedule and the language is Spanish (they would be good bullfighters...enter the page and you will see. 8_ They keep a part of the money until you send the old engine, BUT YOU CAN'T RETURN THE ENGINE UNTIL IT'S ASSEMBLED AND WORKING, SO ONCE 30 DAYS HAVE PASSED YOU CAN RUN OUT OF THE MONEY.. 9_ Now I have no choice but to complain legally, because there is no way to get ANYTHING resolved for you.
I CAN'T EVEN RECOVER THE WITHHELD DEPOSIT IF YOU BUY SOMETHING FROM THIS COMPANY AND IT'S DEFECTIVE, THEY'RE GOING TO PUT ALL THE OBSTACLES THEY CAN UNTIL YOU GIVE UP. IN SHORT YOUR MONEY AND TIME WASTED FOR NOTHING

Beware of Fair-Motor: A Cautionary Tale

I purchased a motor from Fair-Motor, which was advertised as "100% tested." However, upon receiving it, I discovered a broken spark plug inside the motor. They instructed me to either fix the problem myself or return the motor for repair, which would take 3-5 weeks.
Their proposed solution was to drill into the spark plug, risking contamination of the engine with debris. I took the motor to a workshop where they confirmed that the proper repair would involve removing the cylinder head to avoid further damage, but Fair-Motor insisted on their unprofessional method.
When I requested a refund, I was told I should have read the terms and conditions. Thus, I received a defective product, and Fair-Motor either wants to use an inadequate repair method or make me pay for the repairs of their faulty product. My car has been in service for two months, accruing storage fees. That was also because they have been on holiday so we couldn't not contact them.
In summary, Fair-Motor's service is subpar, and their customer support is lacking. If you have any issues, be prepared for extended delays and unhelpful solutions. I would strongly advise against purchasing from them.
