Got a payment reminder from Falbygdens…
Got a payment reminder from Falbygdens Energi (same as Falbygdens Energi Net AB).
The reason: I had pressed month 10 instead of month 9 and thus paid late (my first payment error in about 10 years).
Note: I am 76 years. Some month earlier I had a mild stroke which made it difficult to press correctly on the tiny 'buttons' on the smart phone. 6 weeks prior to the payment date I had a colon cancer OP. Together with reduced impaired near sight the smart phone is bad but in Sweden all is centered around BankID login.
On the reminder of 782kr I found no last payment date and assumed the end of the month to be it and pressed in the payment date.
On the 4th of November I received a debt collection claim of 1168kr. The original bill was 715kr. I had payed the reminder of 782kr but missed a longer text whish said..'9 days from the date of the letter'. I missed this due to my reduced near sight.
OK. I paid the collection of 1168kr to be paid 11th Nov.
Surprise!! On the 7th Nov I received a new collection debt from Falbygdens Elnet of 382kr!!!!!
I called the debt collector being nr27 in the phone que. 1/2 an hour later I spoke with a kind person who realized Falköping Elnet had made an error!!!
Sadly Falköping Elnet can demand me to pay for my error but I don't know how I can make them pay 1168 - 715 kroner for their mistake which caused mistrust, anxiety and waste of my time!
Finally note: I have promptly paid Falköping Elnet monthly for over 10 years without error! Well this does not count for a company without human sense.
