Great trip to Monteverde with Faro!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about our trip from La Fortuna to Monteverde with Faro! My daughter and I just hoped for an easy way to get from one place to another, but Freddie made it an experience for us. We stopped at a local farm where we got to cut and press sugarcane and enjoy a homemade drink. We also had a rest break at a little cafe with homemade empanadas and a butterfly garden. Freddie shared a lot of great ideas for places to eat and things to do in Monteverde. Looking forward to the return trip with Faro! It’s a family business and you can tell how much care they put into what they do.

Best decision ever to hire a professional driver
Our family stayed in Guanacaste Peninsula Papagayo. We took a day trip to go to a coffee experience in Monte Verde. We were picked up on time by Freddy, driven safely throughout the country and made many fun stops along the way . We had so much fun. Our day would not have been as fun, stress free or easy without Freddy. We also stopped at so many hidden gems that only locals know ! Soo worth it!

Reliable and Comfortable Private Transport from Liberia Airport to Tamarindo
I recently used a private transport service from Liberia Airport to Tamarindo, and it was an excellent experience. The booking process was simple and efficient, with clear communication about pickup details. Upon arrival, the driver was already waiting with a sign, making it easy to find them.
The vehicle was clean, spacious, and well air-conditioned—perfect for the tropical climate. The ride itself was smooth, and the driver was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area.

Great quality service!
During my February vacation, I requested 3 round-trip private transportation services from Faro. The trips were SJO to Monteverde, SJO to Manuel Antonio and SJO to Arenal. For all services, the driver arrived on time and provided excellent service.
The drivers were knowledgeable and provided good information about important touristic sights. In addition, I consider the cost of each transportation service to be very reasonable.
This is a family run business and they take good care of their clients. I would definitely contact Faro again for my transportation and/or tour needs.

If you're looking for help planning tourist activities of any kind in Costa Rica, look no further than Faro Travel. Brilliantly organised trips and activities
I spent 2 weeks in Monteverde working on a coffee farm and Andres was my contact for taxis, trips and activities. He was full of good knowledge about the area and gave great recommendations on what to do!
It was really easy to contact him and every trip and activity I booked was organised really well with no hassle. It’s great to use and support a local family run business. I would recommend using Faro Travel while in the area!

Awesome Trustworthy, English Speaking Guide and driver!
This is a very professional travel company! I definitely recommend it. My cousins and I (we are all in our 20’s) were traveling abroad for the first time together and I was a little nervous about safety. Andrés was very helpful, professional and friendly! He arranged all our transportation in Monteverde/Santa Elena and also helped us take a zip line tour. He studied in the US for some time, so he speaks excellent and English and there was no communication barrier at all. He’s a local to the area and knows it well. My favorite part of the trip was spending time on his Aunt & Uncle’s organic coffee farm La Bella Tica and also climbing the “Strangled Fig Tree.” Andrés is a great trustworthy person to know and I highly recommend anyone wanting to travel in the area to reach out to him! Andres is the best!
I was in Monteverde for a week and Andres was so helpful and I felt so comfortable around him! He was always on time to pick us up and was so accommodating. He recommended great tourist attractions for zip lining and dinner! He also spoke great English and told wonderful stories about Costa Rica!
