I recently had a concerning interaction…

I recently had a concerning interaction with someone claiming to be from FCCSolutions, who attempted to obtain sensitive information from me under the guise of recovering $40,000 supposedly due to me from a past Bitcoin transaction. The person, impersonating Matthew Rogers—a well-known and accredited financial advisor registered with the FCA—requested extensive personal data, including my driver's license and bank account details.

Upon initial contact, they already had some of my information, which they used to try and gain my trust. However, I was cautious and chose not to provide further details without verification. I took the initiative to check the FCA registration number and contact associated organizations, only to discover that this individual was misusing the real Matthew Rogers' credentials to deceive me.

Please be vigilant if approached by anyone from FCCSolutions or anyone using similar tactics. This experience highlights the importance of verifying the identity of anyone who contacts you requesting personal information. Do not share your details without thorough checks. My advice is to steer clear of such suspicious activities and protect your personal information at all costs.

Scammers?

A very suspicious company claims to be able to recover funds from a crypto theft. The caller started to get very tetchy when I wanted to know the company details. The website is only three months old, yet he claimed it was seven years old. He kept trying to get back on to his script, but I wouldn't let him, resulting in more exasperation.
