Mediocre
Not sure about their other courses, but the Forensic Accounting course was mediocre. Not worth the price. Should be on Udemy for $10.

Purposeful modeling
Before I looked through the Financial Edge Training website, I was averse to undertaking any modeling course. However, the approach by Financial Edge Training invited me to rethink formatting my models and communicating analysis and outputs to intended audiences in a more succinct manner.

Really expensive for what it was - thought I might be able to come back to it at a later date since I spent £400 on the materials but that apparently isn’t an option

Outstanding course for future Investment Bankers
The training is specifically geared towards teaching investment banking fundamentals. This course is the same as those offered in graduate training schemes at the 4 most prestigious Investment Banks.

Great work FE
I was hesitant to fork out the cash to purchase the course at first, but I’m really glad I did in the end. The modules are well structured and the material is presented in a way that is intuitive and engaging. The hands-on excel workouts are invaluable. Highly recommend to those looking for a way to break into finance.

A right of passage
In my humble opinion, if you're thinking about a career in investment banking and wish to take a step closer to working in said industry, Financial Edge's IB micro-degree would be a splendid place to start.
It'll develop various new skills and give you a teaser of what you'll be doing as an IB analyst.
If you find yourself despising modelling and valuing... In the long term, it would be better to make that discovery early on rather than down the line when you've invested MUCH more time, effort, and money.
For newcomers, the course is vast but well structured. Not to mention, Gerard is easy to follow :)
Once again... If you want to get into investment banking... This is a good place to start.

It’s great to take this course if…
It’s great to take this course if you’re having no experience or foundation in finance like me, as long as with your passion, I believe this would bring you to another level closer to as professionals. I’m taking another course in financial accounting too, I realized this course really set me a great starting point to understand how accounting and modeling work. If you’re desparate to become an investment banker one day in future, I would say don’t hesitate, just do it!
