Government Corporation Everyone needs to understand that FedEx is a government corporation and has the same issues as all the other government agencies in Canada. I contact the supplier prior to ordering and if that supplier uses FedEx I will not purchase that item from them. If everyone would do this then the suppliers would have to find an alternative shipper.

Impossible to reach human reps
Hey FedEx your voice automated line is NOT making my life easier. If I could've talked to a human rep sooner, we both would've gone our own days after a short call. Your automated system is so damn convoluted and it took me 20 minutes to navigate to see an option to talk to a human operator. Just WHY?

The worst courier
Awful company to deal with. When ordering online, retailers unfortunately use FedEx often. This often results in me being billed after the original purchase (I never seem to get these delayed, surprise charges with other companies). When this happens I have to waste my own time using FedEx's terrible, frequently glitchy website. I once wasted 1.5 hours of my time on the phone trying to pay a $16 fee.
This is seriously the worst shipping company out there. When given the choice of couriers I go with anyone but FedEx.
Don't Leave Valuable Parcels Lying Around in the Open!
If you're delivering a parcel that contains an item that's worth more than $100, why would you just leave it completely unattended by the mailboxes (to be clear, not inside a mailbox, I mean OUTSIDE the mailboxes on a ledge in an unsecure area that's not even close to the apartment number on the delivery address) for anyone to take without even bothering to call the person to whom you're delivering it? I don't think COVID protocols and social distancing can justify this kind of lazy, negligent customer service. I'd give them Fed Ex a 0 instead of a 1 for this experience if I could.
Horrible customer service
If I could leave a 0 I would. I paid $9.99 for my parcel to be delivered to my residential address. It ended up being redirected without my knowledge, even though no one ever rang my doorbell. No paper was left either. I tried to call customer service multiple times and could never get through. The only time an actual human answered, I explained my problem and they stayed completely silent for multiple minutes. I now have to go pick up my package at the ship center, despite paying for delivery and being home all day long. Avoid FedEx if you can.

I had a little envelope containing very critical documents and shipped them through FEDEX overnight priority services from Ottawa to Montreal. my envelope was shipped on Tuesday 7th December 9:30 from Ottawa and was supposed according to the bill to arrive the next day before noon (most 13:30), then after 100 times calling customer service it finally arrived late, in the afternoon @ 18:45 and it wastes my whole day waiting to receive it.
then once I asked customer service to refund the balance of my payment to the regular shipment as a FedEx money-back guarantee, they respond this service is suspended!!!!
In Brief: FedEx charged me, 57 $, for a little envelope to be shipped from 2 hours distance (Ottawa to Montreal) taking almost 2 days!!!

Another friend of mine has the same bad experience with FedEx delays. To me, this was the last time that I used FedEx, and definitely, I do not recommend this courier!!!!
Driver did not leave sticker on my door!
Driver did not leave sticker or note on delivery attempt. I was using fedex.com first realizing delivery was in "pending" state in a neighbur town with no further explanation. Website was to no help. tried calling in, and was welcomed by an automated agent that does not understand two subjects in one sentence. I then had to argue with that bot, asking for representative 10 times. 15min later, I got india on the phone, and he was helpful enough to spell out the address of pickup location.
I later checked fedex.com versus fedex.ca with my tracking number. It came out with two completely different statuses. What a software nightmare!
Professional liar
Systematically say that I am '' unavailable '' even though I literally take days off work to wait for my deliveries. No possibility to complain about the lying either on their website. This 'shipping' company is just a bunch of lazy and dishonest people.

Honestly, it would of been only 1 star if it wasn't for Wilson. F that answered the call and fixed my overcharge(s) after 30 days of trying to resolve it. I don't think all employees should be paid equally for the same position because most of them are useless but not Wilson. F, he's 5 stars not fedex.

Fed Ex charged me almost the same price of the item shipped to me in extra fees that were not disclosed until weeks after I received my package. Not happy. it seems ridiculous to pay for shipping for a $40 dollar item and then weeks later pay another $30 dollars for "fees".

my god what a terrible company. every person you get says something different. I was told delivery on Saturday would be $5 then the next person says $25. I was told that the pick up location would be in my city at a specific location that I confirmed with the person and then they sent my parcel to another city and then said I couldn't pick up my parcel. if I had a choice I wouldn't use this company again.
Like all delivery services in Canada, FedEx is predictably terrible.
FedEx will say that they "attempted to deliver your package but no one was home" even when no such attempts have been made. After several attempts such as this, they will eventually say that your address doesn't exist.
So then how did they attempt the first few times?
I understand that these drivers are under a lot of pressure to make timely deliveries. The fault is on the higher-ups who are not giving drivers a realistic timeframe in which to deliver packages.

Unfortunately I have to receive packages via Fedex, and it worst experience ever. I order supplies from Home Depot, and they use Fedex by default. Every time, in period of 8 months, I order something, Its ALWAYS late. They promise to deliver at certain date, but never did it. I called, chat, everything, nothing helps.....

Things started out rocky…
Things started out rocky, but I was pleasantly surprised to have my delivery issue resolved quickly. Ordered a product from Europe, paid duties immediately after receiving the automated phone call, told my package was out for delivery the next morning. Then I check to see that it was brought to a depot due to lack of payment. I messaged them on social media at 9pm and it was set up for delivery by 9am the next day.
My frustration lies with the fact that I specifically paid immediately as instructed “to avoid any delay in delivery” and it ended up being pointless. Another frustration is that there’s no direct chat feature on their site, so I had to turn to their social media and hope for the best. Overall, it could have been a lot worse I suppose. Highly recommend using Facebook messenger if you’re seeking a faster solution.
Atrocious shipping services.
Atrocious shipping services...have had two deliveries where clearly the driver made no attempt to deliver but their tracker indicates deliveries were attempted but access not possible (had double checked with them prior to delivery that they had the correct buzzer code). Their default service in my experience is to make no attempt to actually deliver and to default to making you drive during work hours to a drop point convenient for them. This is not an issue with multiple other shippers I receive shipments from regularly. Clearly based on reviews this is a very common practice by FedEx with drivers attempting to hit quotas without actually doing any work. Avoid any retailers that use FedEx and urge them to boycott.
