The company emailed to say the parcel would be delivered today. They then emailed to say the delivery had failed as no one was in. They advised reading the card the driver left. There was no knock at the door, ring of the doorbell and no card.
I can only conclude that they are incompetent, untrustworthy strangers to the truth.
Shocking.
Seems that everyone is experiencing same problems. I ordered something from USA. That made its way all across USA but got to UK and it goes to pot. I missed the delivery on 19th June. So logged on nad requested to collect from a local pick up point to save same problen again. I got notification to say next day at pick up point. Next day cane app saying out for delivery, next day same thing. Next day same again. 5 days later I contacted FedEx with a ticket to raise a concern. They marked it resolved still no delivery. Today went on live chat to be told it's been at the depot all week waiting collection. No one told me that. It was showing out for delivery every day. At no point did it say being held at depot. Got to depot and staff saw me at the glass window but waited till I rang the bell to come over (ridiculous) took them ages to find it and I had to end up telling them the size and shape it would be. They found it. I said no one told me it's been here all week, the reply was "oh that's strange"
Cowboy firm.
Was out for delivery 24th June 2026.Email said I was not at home. Complete lie. Nobody came to my house. Emai said refer to card driver left. No card left. I arranged delivery for next day which is today. After reading these reviews I don't hold out much hope of success. Why do companies use these cowboys?
A weeks delay on the deliver
FedEx was supposed to deliver my package on Thursday, which it didn’t without any explanation. The late delivery happened on Friday, when no one called on my flat and it was marked as if I wasn’t home. I choose a pickup point to avoid the same issue again and it as only delivered A WEEK LATER. Ridiculous delivery service, on par with Evri.
Should be zero stars
Should be zero stars. Ordered an item which didn't turn up at the promised time, I checked the app which showed it had been delivered and signed for about an hour ago.
I tried phoning with no luck then checked the location where the parcel had been left
Delivery address started More... Avenue but the parcel was left in the driveway of a house several miles away that started Moor.... Road.
When I went to the address the parcel which was worth almost £400 had just been discarded in the driveway without the homeowners knowledge.
The delivery label was perfect showing the correct address and postcode.
How can this be acceptable?
Luckily on this occasion I was able to retrieve the parcel before it got stolen.
We all make mistakes but a completely different address several miles away.
I have paid for a service that I never recieved .
Awful customer service
Awful customer service, no one knows what they are doing, told 3 different things from 3 different colleagues and as a result had cost me a huge amount of money and time but nothing they can do. Do not use FedEx
Worst delivery service
Terrible service. Try to avoid ordering from anywhere that uses fedex delivery. They've held my parcel for 2 weeks now. They pretended to try delivery one of the days - I was home all day. Upon contacting, they said they'd reschedule to 3 days ago. Lo and behold, they still never attempted a delivery. Every single day the status is "at fedex facility". Avoid like the plague.
Absolute unprofessional company
Absolute unprofessional company , payed £9.95 for delivery. Six days later not received my parcel, was out for delivery 3 times and never got delivered. Absolute shambles the organisation in this company. Next time I make a order online I will be checking if this company will be delivering it , and if it is I will not be ordering it . Amateurs
Reporting to the Police now to investigate
Update; I’ve been investigating how this apparently works so see if this resonates with you.
1. Package shows as delivered but they’ve been nowhere near
2. Package has been ‘accidentally’ delivered to somewhere else… where there is no one in and it’s left in the open air
3. The labels are mysteriously removed from the package, so anyone seeing it won’t know who’s it is and assume it’s meant to be there
4. Someone else then comes to collect package, hopefully before the wrongly delivered homeowner returns… if they’re too late, no harm or risk… but that homeowner now has a strange parcel with no name or address on
5. Any claim of wrong delivery shows a photograph of the wrong address, but it’s an innocent mistake surely?
6. The van driver is no longer the only suspect; you now have the van driver, the wrong home owner and of course anyone who was passing
7. Fed Ex close your case because only the sender can make a claim
8. The sender doesn’t want to get involved because they sent it to Fed Ex so the6 did their bit
9. You”re left trying to claim through your credit card
10. The Police and no Fed Ex know what’s happening, but it’s too hard to investigate and catch because of the huge scale of theft going on
I’m getting the point where I only trust Amazon, which is incredible really.
Package not delivered despite system saying it was.
I was at home waiting for it, there is no delivery card and no evidence has been provided to show where or when it was delivered.
Raised a ticket for missing delivery which FedEx closed based on their own system saying it was delivered.
Seems a big coincidence that an air conditioning unit has mysteriously disappeared on the hottest day of the year so now reporting to the Police as a potential theft.

Utterly Useless
I ordered something from a company in Derbyshire, only just over an hour away by car, on next day delivery. I live in Lincoln. They picked it up from Derbyshire and took it to Nottingham. Then, rather than a quick hop over to Lincoln, they took it to the middle of the Lincolnshire countryside (Woodhall Spa), an hour away on the OTHER side of Lincoln. There it sat with a midday (at the latest) delivery on the Wednesday (a day late). It wasn't picked up from Woodhall Spa until midday and still hasn't arrived. But I have had 3-4 emails telling me it's out for delivery. Judging by reviews elsewhere, if I get my parcel in working order at any time in the future, I should probably think myself lucky!
the tracking updated to state "Customer…
the tracking updated to state "Customer not available". This is a complete fabrication. No driver approached my property, the doorbell was not rung, and absolutely no physical 'Sorry we missed you' card was left. I have video footage that clearly proves no FedEx vehicle or personnel came anywhere near my address at the stated time.
I was dreading having these idiots…
I was dreading having these idiots deliver my parcel. I knew something along the line will be wrong.
So parcel was supposed to be delivered today. No knock, call or anything for that matter. Received a message saying " We were unable to deliver your package. Go to "link provided" to manage your delivery "
So I went ahead and clicked the link.
Not it's asking me to provide: The air way bill number can be found on the card the driver left for you.
The cnut didn't leave any card because he hasn't even been here.
So now I can't access the delivery options.
This is a big "fcuk you" to all customers and clients that pay your wages. Trading standards need to look at these imbeciles, because it ain't on. Thousands of disgruntled customers yet they are still trading.
I'm surprised people still use you cowboys to deliver their packages.
If I had a choice or known this is going to be sent through these idiots, I wouldn't have had bothered.
They won’t send me a copy of my signed delivery. It wasn’t me nor did I see the package.
I placed an order on the 7 May and FedEx sent me a email confirming the delivery would be Monday 11th May between 9.10am and 1pm and it would need a signature. I did not go to work as it was an important package. About 2 pm it had not arrived so I used the tracker and apparently it had been delivered with a signature. I looked all around my property but I couldn’t find it. Our large open drive is clearly marked with the house number and name in large letters.
I called the company and asked where it was they did not know but there was a signature with my initial and a squiggle. I have asked several times for a copy but I have not received it nor a reply from FedEx to this day 24 June .
There was no photo as proof of delivery. I could prove no one had been on my property and that I never signed for delivery which I paid £6.99 for! They contacted FedEx for more information.
I was concerned that someone else signed for my delivery but did not leave the parcel or they did and it had been stolen. But my ‘signed’ acceptance of the package would mean I would struggle to prove I did not have it.
The next day my husband was in the garden and a man walked on to our property went to a disused tall wooden gate at the bottom of our very large garden with no house number on it and picked up the package which had been squeezed under the garden gate behind a large bbq. My husband asked him about it and in broken English he said “sorry but I don’t know the village my first time here”When my husband asked him why he did not come onto our drive or obtain a signature he just shrugged his shoulders handed the parcel over and left.
I have asked the company I bought the item from and FedEx for
1. a copy of my signature, which I have not received.
2. why should I pay £6.99 for a signed delivery if I did not have one.
3. I have asked both parties to raise a complaint and proved a reference number and again not received one.
4. Plus an explanation and result of their investigation and I’m still waiting.
I have sent about a dozen emails to both parties but FedEx contact name Craig Fair) has not replied to me since 11th May. That’s 45 days which I believe is adequate time to register my complaint and resolve the issue.
When purchasing an item online I will now ask who the delivery company will be and definitely not use FedEx again.
I’m not surprised FedEx currently has a 1.2 rating by 9,222 reviews we can’t all be wrong!
I’m very satisfied with the Service
I’m very satisfied with the Service. I have used an international priority express service from UK to Malaysia and the parcel was received within three working days excellent service highly recommended.
My parcel was supposed to arrive…
My parcel was supposed to arrive yesterday wait in all morning no delivery and said it has been delivered no card to say where it’s is looked everywhere not been received. Been In touch with the company and they said they looking into it x
Dreadful - I Do Not Recommend
I need to send a parcel to Italy, I checked the drop off points for Chelmsford, Essex. To anyone wishing to drop off a Fed Ex parcel in Chelmsford the following Esso stations which are listed on the FedEx website don't do accept parcels - Esso Princes Road, Esso Waterhouse Lane, Esso Rainsford Road and Esso Baddow Road. I spent my evening driving around Chelmsford. The £20.00 I paid for the parcel I probably spent on fuel. Appalling, incorrect information on website. I still have my parcel, I now have to go out again and find a drop off point. I will not use FedEx again and I do not recommend them either. Dreadful
Great app and AI-based phone service but not a human bit of common sense.
I was very impressed to get a message from a retailer I have used before to say that my items (two bar stools for my home) would arrive by June 23.
I booked time off work to stay in for the delivery as I could not get FedEx to specify anything more than "between 6.10 am and 10.00pm". I even downloaded the FedEx app to help monitor progress.
I had the app notifications switched on in case there was any difficulty finding our address as we are a newly adopted postcode. No phone calls, no emails.
At 14.16, I receive a notification on the app to say that deliver was attempted - an out and out lie - due to difficulty with the address. In spite of the fact that FedEx have my contact details by phone and email - no attempt whatsoever was made to clarify the address and, on contacting the retailer, no attempt had been made to contact the sender for clarification.
How can a so-called global institution of some renown and extensive flashy advertising be so lacking in basic principles of service.
Given a choice, I would run a mile rather than rely on such a company. If I could rate lower than one star, I would.
The most unreliable company I have ever…
The most unreliable company I have ever dealt with. I have been waiting for my parcel from Lakeland since the 7th of June. I even took a day off work to receive it, yet they still failed to deliver — and once again changed the delivery date in the evening. This has now happened for the 9th time.
Trying to contact them is almost impossible. Their chatbot is completely useless, and their customer service is absolutely disastrous. They ignore delivery instructions, including clear requests about where to leave the parcel, and show no respect for customers’ time.
This has been an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience. I strongly recommend staying away from this company unless you are prepared for endless delays, poor communication, and complete lack of accountability.
