Feefo operates as a closed platform, meaning we ensure that only verified customers—those who have actually used a product or service—can leave reviews. This approach helps maintain the credibility and reliability of the feedback you see on our site. In contrast, open platforms allow anyone to submit reviews, which can sometimes lead to less reliable or biased feedback. We believe that by verifying customers, we offer a more accurate reflection of user experiences.

As per other people's experience, following a prompt from Feefo, I posted a negative review for a Hoover Condenser dryer which broke down and needed various repairs after only 16 month's use.
Feefo rejected my review of a poor quality product.

Don't understand why anybody would waste their time trying to send a review via the site. I fell for it because I thought it couldn't possibly be as impenetrable third time round.
Sneaky, disingenuous company. I wouldn't trust any Feefo review after my experience. I rated a Smeg cooker poorly (awful design, sticks out into the kitchen with an ugly gap between it and the wall because there's no allowance for the space the gas hose takes etc.etc.) but as many others have reported, the review was rejected on the basis of "information in the wrong place".
It seems that Feefo only accept positive reviews so can't be trusted.
Edit: ... and based on the reply below they are also adept at dodging the question. "We don't change reviews [because we don't accept the negative ones anyway]".

How these can operate in the UK is beyond me, it is simply a fake review site! The review are false and no matter what review a customer gives, Feefo just change it to 4 or 5 stars! This must be against trading standards rules. Do not sue any company based on Feefo ratings

This company is biased and has no integrity whatsoever. I wrote an honest review based on an awful experience of Bristol Airports Meet & Greet service after receiving an email requesting feedback. What is the point of writing an honest review if Feefo then completely rewrite the review before publishing it. I have asked them to remove their fake review and publish the unedited review so not to mislead consumers.
I can only assume Bristol Airport is paying Feefo to moderate and manage negative reviews. Fortunately I hadn’t heard of Feefo prior to receiving the feedback request from Bristol Airport, and now having seen how reviews are rewritten, I certainly wouldn’t use them to check a company or service I was thinking of purchasing from or using.
Absolutely shocking behaviour from a so called review platform. Their reviews should not be trusted.
This company has no integrity or honesty as a review site. I entered a review after being contacted by British Airways Holidays. The review was honest in that the hotel was decent but put hidden taxes amenity tax on after I had returned to the UK. British Airways were terrible they bumped us off a flight from New York onto a later one splitting my family up even though we had upgraded seats etc and then connecting flight was cancelled. I reviewed on feefo with a 1/5 and received an email saying that I'd put my entries in the wrong part of the review and the moderation team had altered it. I looked at the review and they had given it 4.3/5 and removed all comments. I contacted customer support and asked them to remove it as it was false and misleading but they haven't and have ignored any further correspondence...
I left an honest review about a misleading car dealership, that was selling faulty dangerous vehicles on autotrader, for it to be removed, feefo are the platform that handles reviews on there.
Discusting.
They only appear to publish glowing reviews. Look at DHL Ecommerce on Feefo, then look at the same company on Trustpilot and say there isn't something suspect.
I was sent a review email by Feefo. I had a bad experience, so I reported it & gave it a 1 star. Feefo didn’t post it accusing me of using bad language & swearing.
After asking them to prove it, which they couldn’t, they changed their position & made it about me not giving “enough evidence” for my poor score.

Was asked to review a purchase. They changed and deleted most of the information and made it 100% positive and that was not the case. Never believe any reviews on this site
Feefo are an absolute farce, and if you leave a negative review, they'll make excuses about it being invalid so they can delete it.
"It’s got personal information in it that breaks our privacy guidelines." - no, it absolutely did not. It was two sentences about me disliking my mattress.
Edit: See below for more gaslighting from Feefo in contrast with the overwhelming number of people sharing my experience.
I didn't say you changed my star rating. This is a straw man argument. Nobody here is saying you changed the star rating, they are saying you completely deleted their review for made-up reasons.
There was no personal information in my review. I commented on the quality of service. It was not insulting or offensive in any way. There are countless other reviews that commented on the service in a positive way that were allowed through.

I bought 4 separate items from different sellers on Not on the high street. 3 purchases were good and I left them appropriate reviews which were published. One was for a personalised soy candle and it was nothing like the images so I tried to leave it a 1 star review. Feefo won’t publish it!
They are a joke and have made a mockery of the reviews system.
This website it designed for bad companies to boos their reviews/ratings. Just compare the worst rated on Trustpilot Company - DHL Ecommerce UK. It has 1.1 star on Trustpilot where reviews are free to post. It has 4.8 start on Feefo. Do I need to say anything else ? This company is designed to boost SCAMMERS. AVOID AT ALL COST.
I’m genuinely shocked by how Feefo operates. I wrote a verified review of a car dealer based on my own purchase and backed it up with solid evidence including certificates, invoices, and correspondence. Feefo first published my review, then removed it, republished it, and removed it again. This has now happened 5 times on same review!!!
They even told me I could write a new review and sent me their moderation guidelines. I followed them to the letter, no accusations, just facts. Guess what? Feefo published that review too… and then removed it again.
Each time, I received an email confirming my review had passed moderation, yet it was taken down within hours. That isn’t moderation, it’s suppression. Feefo appears to protect businesses from legitimate criticism while misleading customers into believing reviews are impartial.
Based on my experience, Feefo cannot be trusted to present honest customer feedback.
I received an invitation to post a review and after 2 attempts the review still wasn’t published. It appears that the warranty company concerned is inviting reviews after approved claims are paid, giving a bias view of customer feedback. I couldn’t find reviews for rejected claims
I can't be sure, but from my experience Feefo is VERY shady. I do NOT trust there reviews or the way they do business and I will never again trust a company that uses them for reviews. Because I think they are fake reviews.
Published a false positive review on my behalf when I rated a company poorly. I had given the company 1 star and Feefo published as 4.5 which is wildly inaccurate. Given my experience, I would not trust Feefo or ever review with them again.
I never even got my initial review link; Feefo claimed I had opted out. When they eventually sent me a link, my first review was declined almost immediately. I edited it and submitted a second review, which was accepted and posted. Four days later, out of nowhere, I got an email saying it had been rejected — and they replaced it with a 5-star rating without my consent.
This is absurd. Feefo pretends to be a platform for honest customer feedback, but they actively censor criticism and manipulate ratings to suit companies. It’s completely untrustworthy. Avoid Feefo if you care about real reviews.

Feefo is no legitimate, only accept postivie reviews that they get paid for. They won't process negative feedback regarding their clients, with other words feefo isn't trustable review site.
What a load of rubbish.
Asked me to do a survey from a recent purchase from Haier. Didn't like my response and told me they didnt publish it. Talk about pander to the people paying you to run the surveys.
I would not trust a review published by them for any future purchases.
