Bad Practice
This company has zero accountability for what the products they offer. I reached out to them to place an order and they happily reached out to me to fulfill that order.
However, now that I am having issues with their products, they are ghosting and dodging me. I have emailed, called and reached out multiple times for the last couple of weeks if not more, and suddenly I haven't heard back from anyone at all.
This is completely irresponsible, dishonest and plain old just bad practice, from a business perspective and personal. It shows that the only time a customer is valued is when an order is placed, when the money is gone, they are gone with it.
The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (1975) is a federal law governing consumer product warranties to prevent deceptive practices, enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (.gov). It requires clear, pre-sale disclosure of warranty terms for consumer goods, enabling comparison and ensuring fair remedies. Notably, it prohibits warrantors from forcing consumers to use specific brands of parts or services to maintain warranty.
FemmeFunn, disclosed a 1-Year Limited Warranty, and although I have not been able to even get to the point to put in a warranty claim, since I was only asking for simply advice and guidance on how to troubleshoot one of their products, they are legally obligated to adhere to this law, which and wherein I believe I was either sold a defective product or mislead.
