1. Most woman are on there to drain you financially without offering anything in return - you won’t meet a woman on there to share and discuss kinks, they are effectively sex workers but don’t even offer you sex
2. Unless you’re already involved in the scene offline it’s incredibly hard to break into it - don’t expect much help unless you’re willing to blindly turn up to organised swingers events on your own with no idea of what you’re getting into
3. Gave it 2 stars instead of one as I did attend an event with a domme as her submissive who only demanded a gift of my choosing rather than a payment and even that was to promote her kink party organising gig so still a financial incentive but she was nice and sound and didn’t try to drain my wallet so she got it an extra star

Users within the site often feel entitled to do as they please to anyone. While Fetlife will step in when they need to they do not see everything without reports.
Fetlife staff continue to add content guidelines defining things that are not allowed.

Customer services are so bad. really bad support especially when they delete your account for no reason and refuse to help you

Our account is a couples account and not a sock puppet account. But, the customer services assistance is not trying to listen and understand our situation.

This is very fustrating to get our account unlocked as it feels like you have no one to turn to for help.

The site actively allows blatant transphobic users to message you with unwarranted and unprompted insults, threats and generally hate filled rants and then top it all off by banning the victim for reporting the attacker. Same goes for an absurd amount of mods in groups. Even if you follow the rules, they'll permanently ban you with out any real cause, usually making up reasons.

Group owners can ban who ever they want for any reason. This means if the group owner doesn't like the look of you, you are banned for life. Since most of the group owners are men of one demographic, you can guess the result of them "culling the heard" based on their prejudices. Fet says there is nothing they can do.

General experience is that it's mainly a platform for personal advertising. Incels are rife. Personal insults in messages are common.

This is one of the all time worst "lifestyle" so-called "networking" sites every conceived. Facebook is bad enough but fetlife has them beat for making actually meeting other people as difficult and impractical as possible.
One of the main problems with this garbage site is that you cannot actually garner attention to your profile unless you are CONSTANTLY posting content as if you were only there to promote a professional porn star lifestyle or similar. Due to that, the "site" automatically attracts the lowest of the low types who are mostly only there to promote their onlyfans profiles for money. They are the majority and they could not care less about meeting quality people in person.
