Great aDirection and Revisions
Michelle provided great direction and some valuable revisions to what I’d been doing.
Daniel was very helpful on FB
Daniel walked me through the FB ads to help clean them up and streamline what i had done. after watching the training multiple times, it was helpful to have him take me through the clicks.
Wasted 2 hours time on their webinar
Sat through the webinar and wasted almost 2 hours of my time. I was very interested, as I’ve started writing and have over 27k words for my first book and the starting of two more. I noticed in the webinar she said “night” and it was 9 am. Then she coughed and took a drink of water and mentioned that the webinar had to actually be live or she wouldn’t drink water. I instantly thought, that’s a weird thing to mention and it made me question if it was actually “live”. After the webinar there was a Q&A session, where she was supposedly answering our questions. I asked no less than 6 questions and did not receive a single response. I said it seemed fake and could she answer one of my questions or say hello to me so I could confirm it was live. No response. The Q&A was all staged questions in an effort to extend the timeframe they kept you on the website. I’m sure they’re hoping the longer they keep you on, the more likely they could get you to pay the $1,995. So they lied about it being a live event/webinar. Why lie?
I’ve been in many sales meetings and I hate the tactic of ‘you have to sign up now because there’s only a certain number/spots available’ or ‘you have to sign up before this “limited time offer” expires’. They try to get you to sign up on impulse with the threat of you missing out on ‘such a great deal’ and they know you probably won’t buy into it if you have time to think or question things. Those are the tactics of scammers. They also over-inflate the value of items, like $3,500 of value for “access to private FPA Community”. All it is, is a Facebook group. Also, a $3,000 value for them to “pick your first book topic” (to use the free credit), which they require for their satisfaction guarantee. Don’t see how that’s worth $3,000.
You pay $1,995 to join, but then also have to buy credits which cost $50 for each 10,000 words. There are all sorts of other fees you’ll need to pay like editing, cover design, ghostwriting (if you choose), ads on Amazon, marketing, email distribution lists, and so on.
Their website also has a spot where it says you’ll get a 50% profit margin. They show a lot of numbers for people who have been so successful, but don’t specify if that is gross or net income (one of the questions I asked).
Moral of the story: if something seems too good to be true, it most likely is.
Don’t waste your time watching their webinar; and if they have to lie and use shady tactics, stay away.

Great Marketing Strategy
The marketing guidance I received from Coach Daniel was extremely helpful. I walked away with a clear strategy, practical next steps, more confidence to launch my books, and a much better understanding of how to effectively market my books.
Unimpressed
From where I sit, FPA provide an adequate, if sometimes out-of-date series of videos that will assist a prospective author to create manuscripts. For me at least, that is where it ends. I spent 'a chunk' on their 'Bootcamp' option - its so not worth it! Aside from the few videos, I got nothing. There were one ortwo (no more) exceptions, but on the whole the staff were unhelpful. Never once, did I get a call to just ask how I was doing, or why haven't you published yet, or is there anything we can do to help? I'm not saying they are useless, but absolutely nothing that comes near value for money.

Breaking the Ice
My first 1:1 coaching call with Daniel Williams exceeded all expectations. I came into the call feeling completely overwhelmed by information overload, but Daniel's encouraging demeanor instantly put me at ease. His deep industry knowledge was clear; he shared practical tips rooted in real-world experience rather than a generic script. I left the call with genuine confidence and a clear, exciting roadmap for the future.
1 on 1 call with Lesia
Had a 1 on 1 call with Lesia who was so gracious to talk me through my frustrations around perfectionism in the writing process and my own publishing speed. I love this program so much and was feeling like I was failing a bit, leaving money on the table. She talked me off the ledge and helped me see the positive side of my process and how it will speed up.over time.
I sat through the whole webinar
I sat through the whole webinar. Definitely automated people in it chatting and would not answer my question the whole time.
