Incredibile, but true story
We booked a safari in Tanzania with John (Fig Tree) on January 2021 to July 2021 and paid more Than 1.000 euro in advance.
We asked whether the Safari was fully refundable or not (because of risk related with covid19). Of couse John answered us yes.
Now (AFTER TWO YEARS) we are still waiting our money.
We sent thousand of message, but we are still waiting.
An endless story. The Air company (Oman Air) refund us our flight tickets (even though after 1 year), but we are still waiting Fig Tree.
I think that we’ll never receive our money back, but i DON’T SUGGEST FIG TREE AND DON’T SUGGEST TO GIVE THEM MONEY IN ADVANCE

We are very Sad to see your negative review, due to the following reasons.
1.First of all deposits is used for booking customers accommodation and other presafari preparation so once we receive it we pay directly to our suppiers for your services and this is always non refundable.
2.Its true we accepted that in case of travel ban due to COVID 19 restrictions we will refund you but due to our terms your refunds were being full refunded but our tents showed it was 60 Days before arrival or postpone your services to the future dates.
3.We refunded you half of your deposits to your wife more than 500 Euro via Western Union although we were not supposed to refund so as to keep our customers and avoid bad reviews but it's sad that you didn't mention and kindly any customers who will read this review and wish to know about it we will share.
Lastly we promise you that for you to be happy we will pay you the rest amount 500 USD so that you can be happy with us and delete the reviews as you did last time when we paid you half of your deposits.a

It's so that to call us thieves while we have refunded you trustfully half of your deposits as this was for just to keep our trust with you as well you have chance to keep your rest deposits by postponing your safari to the future dates.
