Slow Download and Upload Speed
I'm using Filebasin to backup my Server which is connected with an 1Gbit Connection. When backing my System the highest Speed I could score was about 4mbits for 2 minutes, then it dropped to about 300kbits again.
Yesterday I had to restore a Server and the max download was 5mbits for a short period of time. I'm pretty sure thats an Error on Filebasin's end.

The upload speed you experience to our servers can vary depending on many factors including peak times for our servers and the internet in general. As you are aware, internet use has increased over the past few years resulting in a high volume of traffic stemming from new sources on a daily basis. However, we constantly check and monitor our servers for any issues regarding upload or download speeds and can confirm there are no issues present.
Please note, we have a throughput of 13-16 GB/s on our data centres which is shared by our national and international customers. All our data centres are based in London and this will also affect the speed at which you upload to our server. The closer you are to London, the faster your upload speeds will be.
We can also confirm that we at Filebasin do not invoke any form of throttling or traffic management to impede your speeds. Your may wish to contact your ISP and determine that they do not employ any traffic management or throttling on their connection.
DOESN'T WORK
After two weeks, the <1g backup upload is only 40% complete.

SLOTH SPEED, NEVER RESPONDS TO EMAIL
I purchased this package and as the story goes it was to good to be true. It was a lifetime 2TB backup/cloud with the caption unlimited bandwidth. I have Verizon FIOS with extra speed. I sampled a small upload of almost 200 gb. The time was going to be over a week. I messaged them as well as the group that represented them StackSocial and have not heard a word back. Yes, they want my feedback but they don't want to do anything about it.

Sleek user interface and great customer support
Filebasin seems to be a very good and simple solution for cloud backup for home users and smaller businesses. I like the very sleek and simple to use user interface that focuses on the most needed settings and functions without distracting from the "real" work you have to do. The customer support is great and solicitous to help you with reaction times of less than 24 hours. They will still have to fine-tune some details of the service itself (who would not?) but they are absolutely worth a (free) try.
