Excessive costs for deplorable download speed. If you try for free then you are doomed. FileBoom is NOT worth it.

Fileboom.me is a scam

Fileboom.me is a scam. Bought a month, and turned off the automated rebill. "Somehow" (gee, I wonder how?) it got turned back on again. So I ended up with another three months. Okay, fine. But I turned it off again. Within HOURS of cancelling the rebill, my premium account had turned into a free account, despite having a month and a half left on my time. I emailed support, and "Jim" told me that it was closed because payment was never made. Jim is lying out his a$$ because I've got both an email confirmation AND a cc statement with the charge on it, as well as the fact that the premium account was fine for a month and a half...right up until the moment that I stopped the recurring charge, and Jim realized that he wasn't going to get more money out of me. These people are scumbags. Please do not do any business with them. I wish I had known that they were the same as keep2share, as I had a similar experience with them a few years back, and it was worse, as suddenly fraudulent charges started appearing on my card.

My fiance bought a premium one month…

My fiance bought a premium one month through their own credit card payment gateway (authorize.se (which is a ripoff of the legit one of course), and lo and behold. One day later they cancelled the account, deleted the order from their online processing, and pretends nothing every happened. What a scam they run. They should be ashamed of themselves. How hard is it really to let people get the accounts they order? Its only 20gb bandwidth per day, as opposed to UNLIMITED with serious ones like Uploaded and Extmatrix. This is so low that its almost beyond words. Now the money is gone, they claim they never got them (which is horseshit since my bank confirmed they did), and pretends to be stupid. I will file a chargeback tomorrow with the bank. Not a chance in hell are they gonna keep my money. They have to know people will do that when they dont play it straight. Very sad indeed.

Only real issue is finding decent sites that use it, rarelust.com is a very good film download site, but good ones beyond that are hard to find

Fileboom Appears to be Some Sort of Scam

When I searched for fileboom.me, it sent me here, so I assume Cloudflare has something to do with fileboom?

If so, shame on them.

They're stealing from fileboom customers by ridiculous claims and blocking. Someone paid for that bandwidth, and no one can "steal" bandwidth from anyone other than the one that paid for it i.e. the customer.

It's not theft from anyone except the customer, and the main thief here is the company taking the money and then banning their paying customer i.e . fileboom and it's associated keep2share site.

Legitimate sites out there would never think about doing this to their customers. Rapidgator issues new password if they think someone's stealing your bandwidth, and upstore and uploaded leave it up to their customers to monitor usage. Fileboom and k2s just steal your money, doubling the pain (assuming they're not just lying about someone else using your account that is).

Bottom line: uploaders and downloaders should avoid these two sites, they appear to be scams.

false advertising, no bandwidth, immediate credit card fraud.

signed up for 90 days. received a 20GB/day bandwidth limit. bandwidth painfully slow (max 500 mbps, on average 250 mbps). Cancelled recurring, and immediately credit card fraud charges appear (excess of $600). Had to cancel card. **If you MUST use one of these services to distribute or gain access to data; USE a Pre-paid credit card ONLY for the amount of the initial sign-up charges. That should hoodwink their scheme. Keep2Share uses the same tactics, beware.

FRAUD creditcard usage!! ****don't trust*****

I got some unauthorized charges in my creditcard account in 2015 after i used my creditcard at keep2share and fileboom.me (which are the same company) / check imprint).

So i had to close/block my creditcard and got a new one.

Now i used the new CreditCard ONLY with this comany... and yeah, the SAME FRAUD unauthorized charges again with my NEW CreditCard.

NO ONE ELSE GOT THE CC DATA!

I headed this to my layer and the police as well.
