As much as your article on "... most useless college degrees..." garnered interest evidently the authors overgeneralized & truly fell short in their blanket statement. Most readers can attest to their learning how to read in the back alley, under the blankets with a flashlight, in the crook of a cherry tree, on the banks of a lazy river, on the steps of a building, or maybe in a school classroom. Quite possibly the author felt shortchanged in their languishing journalistic endeavors to lay blame on their miniscule grey matter to retain the teachings of giving credit where credit is due... easier to lambast than to provide support. Besides, many readers will admit that teaching is for those with a passion to share knowledge, to maintain the learning-for-a-lifetime continuum. That one author's opinion does not define all who can read; that learning to share knowledge is a gift. Much like learning to report with objectivity.
