Helpful through everything.

Overall, went well. Got my completion certificate in just under 4 weeks, most of the staff was really helpful and explained everything well. Not had any issues regarding the yearly reviews. Even tho it's been a long 5 years, I'm glad I went for it, as I wouldn't be able to clear all my debts in this timeframe before.

The only 1 bad experience I had. I got a new job with reduced income, when I spoke to one of the staff from the review team, she was absolutely so rude & patronising, telling me I need to reduce my monthly outgoing from impossible bills etc rent, council tax. Things that cant be amended. At this time I was also going through a family bereavement and not in the right mindset. In the end I had to terminate the call. I did put in a complaint but it was never replied to.I rebooked the appointment with a different person, who was brilliant.

Would of been 5 stars if I didn't interact with that one person.

We approached getting an iva and our initial contact, Gareth, was very informative, he explained everything in great depth, the good and the bad. Throughout the 5 years processes has been more or less seamless, with each review being in depth but simple to follow.
We cannot fault the Financial Support system for the journey from start to finish.

In September/ October 2020 I was getting overwhelmed with the amount of debt I had. I was literally paying around £1,100 per month on Credit cards and that was just the interest along with usual household bills. I was looking up information about IVAs and came across FSS. From the initial first phone call the whole process was explained. During the last 5 yrs there have been no problems, the amount to pay back was calculated and taken from my bank each month. If I had any queries the agents were on hand to answer them. The yearly process of providing payslips and bank statements and expenditure details was pretty straightforward. I can't actually believe the 5 yrs have finished and would urge anyone in the same position I was in to consider taking out an IVA and using FSS

I have spent 5 years paying into my iva with fss. They have been brilliant from day 1. Always able to answer my questions whether by email or phone. Kept me informed of any changes and kept me fully updated at all times. I have now completed my iva and would highly recommend them. Fantastic company.

From the get go FSS had been great.

When I got in contact with them I was in a position where I didnt know how much credit had been taken out in my name by a previous partner and had started getting debt collectors turning up, even once letting my dog out who thankfully stayed local and was found quickly.

They were able to quickly summarise all of the debts and help with setting a payment plan. Once this was agreed with the creditors the communication was kept open, all questions answered and support was provided at every step.

I never felt overwhelmed or like I had to try hide anything as they always made sure my situation was comfortable and were genuinely there to help.

They made an incredibly stressful situation bearable and now that its over I cant thank them enough. These last few years have been the most stress free I can remember.
