terrible service, damaged items, no reply after 6 MONTHS
I am writing this review to advise others never to buy from this company - EVER!
I bought a few panels from them a few weeks ago.
I spent over £140.00
( no options at checkout other than next day - no info on delivery company, no choices at all - this is important - see their RUDE reply later on)
I was sent a text message the following week stating the delivery would be on a certain date - lets call it day 1, and I needed to have someone to be in to sign for it, even though in my order I had asked for it to be left around the back, where it would have been safe.
As I am disabled I needed another person to take a day off too, to help move the heavy metal panels to the back.
Day 1 - no delivery - I called but got voicemail. I called the delivery company and got voicemail.
Day 2 - both of us had to take the day off work again - no delivery.
I called the delivery company first, and got through - they advised that finemeshmetals had it set up so customers cannot ask questions. I called finemeshmetals several times and towards the end of the day I got through and spoke to their customer service chap. He was not surprised that their delivery was late, and said he would email the delivery company.
I offered to give him the delivery company telephone number as I did not want any further delay and he had not been offering any sort of advice as what to do next. He advised they could not call their own delivery company, but had to email them and it would be a day or so until they got a reply, and that was it - no apologies about the dalay no offer of assistance and no offer of advice as to whether we needed to stay in again the next day.
I wrote an email to finemeshmetals to complain about the delivery service they had chosen to use and that for the £19.00 delivery fee I expected a better service!
Day 3 - we arranged for another person to take a day off work and stay home - NO delivery again!!!
I did get a RUDE email from one of the employees (not allowed to mention his name here) at finemeshmetals stating that finemeshmetals thought that all of their customers were too cheap to deserve a better delivery service (paraphrasing here) and that you get the delivery you chose.
But I was not offered a choice, and quite frankly £19.00 delivery for 4 x smallish mesh panels was expensive in my opinion to start with.
No update from the delivery company.
Day 4 - the delivery arrives - unannounced, and damaged.
I contacted finemeshmetals right away and got voicemail,again. I left a detailed message, including my number etc and referenced the rude email I had recieved and asked them to contact me right away as I did not want the damaged panels.
Day 5 -No reply from finemeshmetals
Day 6 - No reply from finemeshmetals
Day 7 - No reply from finemeshmetals
Day 8 - No reply from finemeshmetals - got an automated email asking me to leave feedback!!! the cheek!!
Day 9 - No reply from finemeshmetals
Day 10 - No reply from finemeshmetals
Day 11- No reply from finemeshmetals
Day 12 - No reply from finemeshmetals
Day 13 - No reply from finemeshmetals
Day 14 - No reply from finemeshmetals
Day 15- No reply from finemeshmetals
Day 16 - No reply from finemeshmetals
So - if you buy from finemeshmetals you recive broken items, at no particular point in time, with no information and no reply when you ask them to sort out the broken items.
finemeshmetals are a total ripoff
finemeshmetals deliver broken items
finemeshmetals do no reply
finemeshmetals are rude
finemeshmetals are the worst company I have dealt with in a very long time
I would not reccomend them to my worst enemy
finemeshmetals should be ashamed of themselves.
DO NOT BUY from finemeshmetals
I originally wrote this in June 2015, I am updating it now in december 2015 to let you all know that I still have no reply, no refund, nothing from frinemeshmetals - AVOID!
