More Leaks Than Solutions
An experience, yes but an extremely poor one that has turned into a prolonged nightmare for both the client and main contractor over the past eight years.
Finepoint were originally engaged in 2015, and to this day significant defects remain unresolved. These include very basic oversights such as missing end caps on drainage tracks, as well as more serious installation failures. For example, a bottom draining system was installed alongside a front fixed EPDM membrane, effectively trapping water and ultimately leading to water ingress and damage to internal finishes.
The list of issues is extensive, and it is genuinely difficult to understand how this company continues to operate without accountability.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise reconsidering their services. Quite frankly, you would be better off with a building without windows and doors than relying on this company.

I would give no stars if it were an option. Since my first involvement with Finepoint in January 2023, their continued lack of substantive responses and actions to close out all the continued incomplete and defective rectification works to a 76 double glazed unit minimal frames project for our mutual client has been a first in a 40 year career. Last contact on site was Nov 2025
Buyer Beware
We had a terrible experience with Finepoint.
Works at the property left unfinished and with defects for years (yes years!). No accountability from their senior management team. Repeated promises then last minute excuses why those promises couldn't be honored. A series of token gesture visits from their operatives (always with insufficient management supervision, materials and plant) resulting in little being achieved until they eventually went into liquidation leaving the project unfinished and the Client with many costly issues to resolve.
Also I note that this Business appears to have generic positive reviews from the US on it. This is a UK based company, interesting! Perhaps Trustpilot should investigate this.
Please think twice before using this company for your project.
Initially
Initially, I was a bit unsure, but after seeing the final outcome, I’m extremely happy. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the design looks beautiful... The team handled everything efficiently and kept me updated throughout. I would definitely choose them again in the future

Shocking service by a terrible company.
We placed a large order for windows and doors for our house renovation project with 100% paid up front in February.
Was given date after date, lie upon lie, about delivery. Multiple issues at the factory, ignored by the company director who would just give me radio silence whilst he disappeared out the country.
Received order in bits, items missing, incorrectly fitting or just completely wrong.
Order was missing our last, large picture window, needed to ensure we could achieve water-tightness for a mortgage surveyor. Apparently stuck at the factory because was too large/heavy for their truck (are you actually kidding me?), given conflicting information week after week. Even considered asking a glass haulage firm to go collect.
Eventually turned up 3 months later, after multiple missed deadlines. The delayed the cash injection we needed from mortgage company to keep build moving forward, but also cost us money (window fitters onsite waiting for glass delivery)
Still chasing multiple issues, more than 1 year down the line. This includes an entire set of new hinges because none of our fire egress windows meet building regulations.
The company director, who deals exclusively in whatsapp messages, has washed his hands of this. Will happily ignore phonecall after phonecall.
I urge anyone considering using this company to go elsewhere - its not worth the hassle. Given the severity of the issues, I do question the authenticity of the 5 star reviews - its a struggle to believe the stark difference in customer care.
Finepoint is not a company to be trusted. Be warned.
Update - Finepoint Glass limited went into administration a few weeks ago and a sister company (Finepoint Glass London Ltd) seems to have survived the liquidation process. Same company name, same director, same address, same website. Make your own conclusions.
He company Director has now tried several times to have my review removed. If only he invested as much time in trying to keep his promises on dates, delivery etc
The original company went bankrupt; this is one with a similar name
The company presented here is no longer the original Fine Point Glass Ltd. That business (company number 08711778) entered liquidation on 12 February 2026. A different company with a very similar name of Finepoint Glass London Ltd (company number (08732223) which has no material assets bought the business, domain name and website from the liquidator for just £37,000, leaving behind the creditors of the original company who will now not be paid. This replacement company has no past performance, is run by the same director, and will no doubt be managed in the same reckless manner as the original. You can draw your own inferences.
I contracted the original company and have been left with glazing that does not operate properly, motors that do not work, doors that do not lock, tracks that are not level, and water leaks in numerous locations, to name just a few of the issues. Promises to fix the extensive problems are not honoured, operatives do not turn up when they are supposed to, and when they do arrive they don't have the parts or time to undertake the remedial works. Dealing with the director and his business has been a living nightmare.
Very satisfied overall
We had sliding doors installed and they look absolutely amazing in our space. The finish is clean and premium, and the attention to detail during fitting was clear. Communication was straightforward and any small queries we had were dealt with promptly.
Quick installation
Couldn't be happier with the service from them. The glass doors we ordered fit perfectly and feel incredibly solid, you can tell the quality straight away. Installation was quick and professional, and the whole process felt very smooth from start to finish.
Very poor Service and workmanship
We engaged by our client to carry out works on a project in Guernsey where Finepoint supplied and installed the glass windows and doors . Unfortunately the experience has been extremely disappointing.
The works were never properly completed, and on multiple occasions attempts to rectify issues only made matters worse. Over the past two and a half years we have dealt with repeated broken promises, poor workmanship, and ongoing defects that should never have arisen in the first place. The Managing Director made numerous personal promises and broke most of them . He made personal written assurances to our client and then failed to actually do them
In order to try and resolve the situation, we were forced to liaise directly with the manufacturer ourselves , something that should not have been necessary had the installation been carried out competently.
To make matters worse, Finepoint has now entered liquidation, leaving the project unresolved and us to deal with the consequences.
Overall, this has been a deeply frustrating and costly experience, and not one we would wish on any client or contractor. Avoid
Update 05.03 . It seems that Finepoint is trying to flag this review as not genuine . Not a problem sharing the hundreds of emails and countless Whatsapp messages over the past two years . I feel sorry for the staff who had to endure the countless phone calls from us to his office only to be told " he is busy or out"

Finepoint Glass delivers outstanding glass solutions with excellent craftsmanship and timely service. Their team is professional, responsive, and detail-oriented, ensuring high-quality results. Highly recommended for reliable, durable, and beautifully finished glass installations.
Fantastic experience
We had custom glazing installed as part of our home project and the craftsmanship truly shows, clean lines, slim frames and a really premium feel overall. The installation team worked efficiently and left everything tidy, and any questions we had were answered quickly. Would happily use them again.
From survey to installation
From survey to installation, everything was handled professionally. Would recommend Finepoint Glass.
What you see is not what you get
The company presented here is no longer the original Fine Point Glass Ltd. That business (company number 08711778) entered liquidation on 12 February 2026 with substantial sums owing to its creditors who are not expected to receive any return. A shell company with a very similar name of Finepoint Glass London Ltd (company number (08732223) which has no material assets bought the business and website from the liquidator for £37,000, abandoning the creditors in the original company. This replacement company has no past performance, will no doubt be managed in the same reckless manner as the original, and is run by the same director. You can draw your own inferences.
Update 21 March: this review is clearly causing the director discomfort as he is has twice attempted to have it removed, originally on the grounds that it was not genuine (since disproved to TrustPilot) and then on the basis that it is "defamatory"(claim since rejected by TrustPilot), despite the fact, as he well knows, every word of it is true. He wants to hide the truth that he put the original Finepoint company into liquidation, leaving behind unmet promises, shoddy work, incomplete projects, payments for work not done and unmet compensation sums. He is doing his utmost to hide the liquidation of the original company, having bought its social media pages from the liquidator for peanuts and continues to use them and the original website as if nothing had happened. Please do your own research to verify what I have written here, starting at Companies House online and you will confirm for yourself that it is all true. I strongly recommend you buy your glazing elsewhere.
I'm so happy with this service.
so happy we decided on Finepoint Glass Ltd for our windows and bifold doors. everything was made to our specifications and the finished look is stunning. the staff were approachable and helpful throughout, and the aftercare support has also been reassuring. I'm so happy with this service.
Sliding door operate effortessly
We choose them for our extension and the whole experience has been very positive. The sliding doors operate effortlessly, the frames are slim and modern, and the final result has completely transformed the space. The team kept us updated and handled everything professionally.
Very impressed with the workmanship and…
Very impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail. Communication was clear throughout the project and everything was completed on time. The final result exceeded our expectations!
I paid in full several months ago for…
I paid in full several months ago for glazing works that were originally quoted at 12 weeks. The project is now over 25 weeks and still not completed.
Multiple written completion dates were provided (including 17 November, 25 November, 22 December 2025, 28 January and 5 February 2026 and many others), but they were missed. Communication has been inconsistent, and key details such as the final installation scope and crane arrangements have repeatedly been unclear.
This delay has caused financial loss, supplier disruption, and significant inconvenience.
I have now been informed by the director that the company may be entering liquidation, despite having received full payment from me and failing to complete the contracted works. A public notice appears in The Gazette (Ref: 5048829).
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Look no further
Look no further. Pretty much any window company you've considered will be better than Finepoint. Honestly! Feel relief that you won't have to experience their abysmal service. Friendly, professional and communicative until they've received your payment, and henceforth, it will only go downhill, from bad to worse. Businesses such as Finepoint should be shut down. No communication at all, with multiple cancellations of booked installations, each time without any prior notice (I had to call to find out they weren't coming). Measurements taken were incorrect and hence we ended up with a window the wrong size. The job remained half done, they didn't return to finish it, and we were left with major extra work to undo all their mistakes and sort out the various structural issues they left behind. One long drama that is simply not worth it. You'll do so much better elsewhere.
Excellent quality and great service
Excellent quality and great service. The team was professional and kept us informed throughout. Our new glass doors look incredible!!
6 months on and nothing done... but chance to rectify
I reached out to Finepoint Glass to install a small reinforced glass balcony at my home. After being given a quote, we were asked to pay 50% as a deposit before they would send a surveyor. Lots of emails back and forth to arrange this, but after paying on 3 March 2025, communication dropped completely. We originally scheduled a surveyor for 19 March, no one showed and no call or email to tell us or to follow up. We next managed to schedule a surveyor for 13 May; again no one showed, no call or email before or after. Since then I have chased many times with no response (last email I got from Finepoint was 7 May). It is now 16 September 2025 (more than 6 months after deposit paid) and after posting this review they have made contact to arrange a surveyor for this coming Friday. I believe in giving people a chance to rectify poor service and so I have neutralised my review while they do so. I will provide an update to my review depending on the outcome (the surveyor turning up as arranged, prompt completion of my project, good quality job done).
