Great quality and fast shipping
The rug we bought came exactly as described. It was packed and delivered well, exactly according to the timeframe and on the date.
They shipped it with UPS. The shipment was quick and I was always informed exactly where the item was, which was great. All in all a really good experience.
I ordered an item in September 2024 and still don't have my item
I ordered an item in September 2024. I was informed after I had ordered the item that it would be delivered in December 2024. This seemed like a very long wait but I accepted the delay. When December came I received an email saying that there was a manufacturing delay. No time frame was given and I complained. I later received an update explaining that the item would now be delivered in March 2025. It's now March and there was no contact or update explaining when the item would arrive. I emailed the company again and after a week I was informed that the item would now reach them at the end of April. It has now been 7 months since I paid for the item. I have been offered a small credit voucher but I am so wary of ordering anything more from them that I can't even commit to buying another item. To say I'm disappointed doesn't even come close. At this stage, I think I will need to cancel the order. But just to warn people the delays can be far more than a few weeks.

Easy way to shop on line with guarantee of getting goods
Hi I just ordered online. Got a price and invoice and paid with credit card. It gave me arrival date 3 weeks away. Pendant lights arrived is well protected boxes, beautifully packed. No damage, delivery excellent. Inside reinforced packing with white gloves to handle lights. So Professional, I did not have to follow up as it worked like clock work. My pendants lights are like a work of art. I love them and my husband loves them also. He did not know i was getting them, but having them hanging over the dining table he thinks they are fab. well done guys very happy. Thank you JOC
Unresponsive Customer Service
I ordered a NORM69 lamp, XL. Wonderful product.
When it arrived and we started to assemble it, we noticed that the lamp was faulty - the incorrect parts had been supplied. This is obviously not the fault of the Finnish Design Shop, but of the manufacturer.
I immediately contacted customer service of the Finnish Design Shop, and received an acknowledgement that my request had been received.
The product is useless without the correct parts. I would expect Finnish Design Shop to propose action to resolve the problem, but so far only silence.
To the Design Shop - please answer my request and propose a remedy.

Would not recommend shopping with Finnish design. Ordered something and was not notified that there would be exorbitant duty charges to receive the package. Have tried and tried to return the package / return to sender. Sent several Emails notifying them of the charges I was expected to pay and requesting a return. Took ages to get a response and now I’m getting emails asking to review. My package has been sent back 2 weeks ago. Want a full refund. Thank you.
Disgraceful customer service
I don't think I will ever order from FDS again. It has been over a month and I still haven't received my items. Not only that, but I have been given no information on when I might receive it. They can't even say where in the world it is! I understand that DHL went on strike but I had to figure that out myself - FDS did not contact me to warn me of potential delays. Also, I have not been offered any compensation for the wait, not even a discount code for a future purchase. I was so happy to have found a soda machine at such a good price, but now I have spent so much on bottled soda that I may as well have bought a more expensive one from a more reliable retailer.

I placed two orders and none of them arrived. The sell stuff they don't actually have. Just a waste of time
Im still waiting for my order despite…
Im still waiting for my order despite ordering over 3 weeks ago. Appalling customer service from someone called Olli who basically just sends back the same useless email ignoring what i've asked. Ive repeatedly asked them to short ship my order because it was for a gift which is now way past that persons birthday and thats not even been done. I also requested my £6.50 shipping to be refunded because they have not even dispatched the product let alone kept me updated with any delays and i'm still waiting to see this refunded. Awful first experience and would not recommend if you are in any sort of hurry to recieve the goods.
One purchase, never again
To begin with, most of the products they sell are not Finnish but Italian. Never mind that detail. Ordered chairs early November and paid extra for express delivery to have them before Christmas - we had guests over and had to eat on the sofa because of the delay. They were delivered mid-February. Had to contact them a few times to know what was going on. When I was contacting them, the express delivery fee was then less expensive and they didn't want to credit the difference even though it was already late. Early January there was a big sale and the whole order + the express delivery would have been £150 less and again, they would not refund the difference "as this would affect the taxes and duties on the order". And not even a rebate on a future purchase for that amount. The products they sell are available elsewhere and you'll definitely get a much better customer service.
