The scheduling was excellent, with only a one-week wait for service. The technician was very polite and meticulous—he laid down a protective cloth before thoroughly cleaning the gas lines, logs, and glass. The area was left spotless, and we were extremely pleased with the entire experience.

Bait and switch -- salesman brings one quote, we choose our product, suddenly the install costs more. Ridiculous company to deal with -- slow to return calls or emails. SO difficult to find someone good to install gas logs, but this company isn't going to be MY choice no matter what!

The first time having the chimney swept so I don’t have much to compare it to... I was rescheduled 3 times due to double bookings/call-ins on their part so they didn’t come out until over a month from the initial call I made to book an appointment. But The lady who answers the phone was very professional and so pleasant! I understand things happen so it wasn’t a huge deal- luckily i have family nearby who was able to let them in when they had to reschedule for a day I had to work. They called on gheir way to the appt and I believe were even a little early. I watched from a security camera- and saw that the man they sent out placed a sheet down in front of the fireplace and went about cleaning it out (the house has been in the family over 50 years and we’re thinking it’s been at least 20 since it was cleaned out) I could see a ton of soot removed and vacuumed up. He spent over an hour cleaning it out/inspecting the chimney. My family who was there said he explained everything he found upon inspection and was very professional. The quote I received seemed fair considering how many fires it’s had and the lack of upkeep on our part. ~$600 for top damper replacement and ~$900 for level 3 creosote removal. I was disappointed to come home and find a light layer of soot on the floor/christmas tree/sofa/everywhere to the sides of where the sheet directly in front of the fireplace. If that’s to be expected then maybe they could warn you to cover things in a 10 foot radius on your own... overall I was pleased with using this company and would recommend them to family and friends.

The individual who came out to do an assessment was great. However, the HQ shop has not contacted me to schedule my service, I have email them and called them.

1st CC were great to work with. We purchased a Split Oak, vented gas log set with remote on/of with adjustable flame setting, along with installation. The logs arrived and installation was completed just in time to enjoy over the holiday season. We are very happy with the appearance and Daniel did an outstanding job on installation and set up, just like the brochure pictures.
