Paid in Full, No Accommodation, No Refund
Our experience with First Class Chalets was extremely disappointing.
We paid a substantial amount for a chalet booking in good faith, only to discover that the booking was not legitimate. Just two days before our scheduled check-in, we were told not to come to the property because of a supposedly broken pipe and were assured that we would be reimbursed in full for the booking. Since then, the company has been unreachable, and we have been unable to recover our money.
Following this, we carried out further research and found information online suggesting that First Class Chalets may be associated with Alps Collection, a company that has been the subject of numerous similar complaints on Trust Pilot. We cannot independently verify that connection, but we found the similarities concerning.
Based on our experience, I strongly urge anyone considering booking through this company to conduct thorough due diligence, verify the property directly with the owner before making any payment, and avoid paying by bank transfer if possible.
I hope no one else has to go through what our family has experienced.
