I ordered this as a gift for my…

I ordered this as a gift for my girlfriend for her birthday. Although the wine box did deliver some delicious wines, the issue arrives when attempting to cancel my order/membership. On the site they frame it as if you click this cancel button, you cancel your membership but it's actually four pages of ads afterwards where they do not clearly state that your membership is not canceled until you proceed through these pages. Instead it just says we hate to see you go! (Which sound like i have canceled it). I get they are trying to persuade you to stay with them but usually when somebody cancels their membership it just means cancel my membership. I dont usually cancel something i want. I asked for a refund and they said that I had to be charged a restock fee. So as of now due to the Shady business practices displayed by this business. I currently give one star and just recommend maybe hitting a liquor store the money will go to better people and you don't have to deal will emailing after a 130.00 order is thrown on your credit card. P.s. "fine wines" are trash quality.

I would give it 0 stars if possible

I would give it 0 stars if possible. There was an issue with shipping my order and now this company returned my shipment and will not send me what I paid for. Don’t order from them if you have a job because delivery will only be during working hours and they will not allow sending package to another site because I tried 5 TIMES and it was still sent back. Unacceptable. They have been reported to BBB I highly recommend WSJ wines I’ve never had an issue with them.

We do offer a "hold at location" option, which might be perfect for your situation. This allows you to pick up your wine at a convenient time if you're not able to be home during delivery hours. They stole my money…

I purchased a gift card for my parents for $200. The company ended up charging for a monthly subscription. When I asked them to cancel this since I only wanted the one time gift card purchase, they assured me that no further charges were being made and it had been cancelled. They ended up not cancelling it and continuing to charge me an extra $200. When I asked for a refund they said that went against their policy. When I followed up they didn’t respond. I followed up multiple times after that and they have continued to ignore me. I work in a customer facing role for a saas company and have never seen such horrible customer service. Do not purchase anything from here they will steal your money.

Hi Jackie, we apologize for the confusion regarding your account! Our records show your account only has one charge on it for a $200 gift card. The recipient of the gift card also has a separate account under their name and chose to sign up for a subscription versus ordering from our store. When the introductory order was placed on December 2023, it automatically enrolled them in the Firstleaf Wine Club. We do make this clear during the sign-up process, and it is also outlined in our terms and conditions.

Since the orders were delivered and signed for, unfortunately, we are unable to process a refund at this time. That subscription was canceled on 4/30/24 at 4:18:46 PM, the last order processed on 4/17/24. That recipient will not be receiving any future orders. Blech. Wines were gross. I can get cheaper and better wines from Costco. Not worth the money.

Had my first order from FirstLeaf and…

Had my first order from FirstLeaf and they sent me only 5 of 6 bottles. I reached out and they credited my account but didn't offer to replace the bottle or credit my actual card. I get it this is their policy but this was my first order and gives me no faith in their ability to actually manage future orders.

I received a gift to purchase wine at a…

I received a gift to purchase wine at a discount. I made the purchase and began tracking my order. It showed that twice the order was damaged in transit. I called and talked to someone name Mark and Mark says they would refund me. I didn't ask for a refund. I still wanted my wine. When I told Mark I would be leaving a review, he said they would send the wine. Not even 2 hours after talking to Mark, I received an email saying my wine was delivered. That is not true at all. I have not received anything from them. Next time, I'll get my wine from somewhere else.

I am loving it so far

They make wonderful suggestions based on the information you put in your initial sign up. The cards that explain each bottle helps you learn how to recognize the flavor profiles better.

Service Is Horrible

We ordered a six bottles of wine on a special offer. Weeks went by and I called. Operator somewhere in America checked and said wine would arrive on next week on Tuesday. By that Friday with still no wine, I called again and got their operator in the Phillipines who checked and finally said wine will arrive on Thursday next week. Had a five minute wait with the worst on hold music I have ever heard and when got operator she put me on hold for more minutes of that awful music! When she finally came back on she said the wine was coming. I sure hope so!
Service is crap, telephone contact was bad, and I told the lady in the Phillippines the only contact I wanted was the wine ordered and no further contact from the company. Strongly suggest buyers look exsewhere if seeking wine.

I am Sold

I received my second shipment and again we were pleased with our selection. The quality in our selection were spot on. Thanks to the staff...theys able to interpret our parlett/wine profile to come up with a selection that is unbelievably accurate. The quality of the wines are at a very high standard. Can't wait for my third shipment!
