Best Ski Shop

I've purchased many skis and have been in many ski shops over the years. First Stop went well above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. I wanted to demo a few of the DPS skis, and it's hard to find a demo for one ski, let alone 3. I reached out to DPS and asked which VT shop would be the best place to look, and they referred 3 shops in Stowe (all of which I know, and one I have purchased from before), and First Stop in Killington. Last season I asked these 3 shops in Stowe to demo skis, and they simply said "we don't have that as a demo, but we will sell it to you." So I figured I would ask them early in the season if they could help me out, and in so many word they said no. I figured I'd try First Stop, and Randy said, "when you are ready to come by, give me a heads up and I'll get the DPS rep to bring what you are looking for." I assume the other shops could have done the same, buy Randy seems hard wired to try his best to get you on the ski you are looking for / need. The DPS rep was there when I got there to pick up the demo, and both the rep and Randy gave me a thorough tutorial on each of the skis, binding, phantom wax, etc. Over 2 days I demoed the 3 different DPS skis I wanted to check out, and each ride was completely different. Being able to demo each was exactly what I needed to do. And Randy took allot of time to talk to me about each ski, and help me zero in on the best option, (which I couldn't be more happy with). If you are going to spend allot of money on a ski, and have a few ideas in mind, CALL FS & RANDY !!
