AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!ordered a rod on 15/06/2025 around £104 total , get an email on 23/06/2025 to say order has been completed and will recieve my tracking no in next day or so , fast forward 2 weeks no rod , so email customer service who advise me the warehouse manager is on holiday so cant do anything for another week until he's back , wait the next week and then get a reply saying they apparently emailed me to ask for an extra £35 pounds postage due to my location (islay)stating I paid only for mainland delivery? even tho they claim they use royal mail who dont charge extra for highlands and islands , search all inboxes and even tho i have many "promotional" emails , no actual email requesting additional postage costs , the delivery section of their website doesn't state anything about mainland or additional postage costs and when I informed them of their breach of consumer law I get a very blunt email to say order is cancelled !! absolute waste of time , pathetic customer service and blatant misleading as many other comments here already point out

I appreciate that this has not been a smooth transaction. We have had a few issues with this order. We do allow customers to purchase goods from the highlands and islands. With Rods we have to ship them through DHL as this is the most cost effective way to ship them to your location. We emailed you straight away for the additional cost of shipping to your location with no response. This is why your order had been delayed being shipped. We are sorry for the inconvenience but without a response we were unable to ship your order. We don't want to have to restrict customers ordering from the highlands and islands and almost all customers appreciate us offering this service rather than excluding this from our shipping areas. Our warehouse manager was off the week that you contacted us and we were unable to give you a full picture of what had occurred during this time due to this being a manual process.
We are sorry for the delay but we had tried to contact you initially with no luck.

Wychwood - Great boat seat!
The purchase and subsequent delivery of the seat was very smooth.
It arrived well packaged.
Bought for my partner's birthday in June and finally used for the first time the weekend 5th July.
He is so impressed with it! It's of very good quality.
It is easy to fit and proved to be very comfortable and he spent several hours in the boat!
