I am also a victim of Fitbar's scam…

I am also a victim of Fitbar's scam as all of you guys are. The same thing happened to me as described by previous reviews.

I have taken the following steps to tackle the situation and would urge you to do the same.

1. File a complaint with DET Consumer protection. Describe the incident with proofs such as invoices, whatsapp messages, mails, and your payment details.

2. File a complaint within 120 days with your debit or credit card bank (for example - ADCB) for a chargeback. Tell them the issue and submit the proofs. Do this TODAY as many months have already passed. DO it asap.

3. File a criminal complaint for fraud with Dubai Police (Al Quiz Police Station) with proofs.

Do all this simultaneously. Don't wait for one process to get over.

I have no hopes of a refund, but I have to try. Best of luck. 🤞

Dont waste your money on FitBar

I’ve been using FitBar for over two years, but their service has deteriorated significantly. Their delivery service is abysmal, with orders being placed at the wrong apartments or being delivered past 11 PM. Additionally, obtaining refunds is a nightmare.

The most recent incident occurred when I placed an order in July. A few hours later, I received a message stating that they couldn’t fulfil the order until the end of August and refused to issue refunds. Logically, why should I pay for a service that I won’t receive until two months later? If they can’t deliver the product, the money should be refunded.

After that, they completely vanished from the scene and stopped responding to any WhatsApp messages.

Another issue is that WhatsApp is the only means of communication with them. As soon as they stopped delivering, their customer representative, Ajim, deleted his WhatsApp account, making his number unavailable.

Unreliable company

Same experience as previous reviewer. I subscribed End of August came and went and no service or communication. They have stated that they are facing financial issues so I hold no hope of a refund.

I subscribed to Fit Bar’s daily healthy…

I subscribed to Fit Bar’s daily healthy meal plan, but after just a short time, they suddenly stopped delivering and messaged me saying they were facing “kitchen issues.” They asked me to wait until the end of August — over a month with no service — which is completely unacceptable. I requested a refund multiple times, but they refused and kept delaying with vague promises like “we’ll update you soon.”

No clear communication, no accountability, and no respect for paying customers. This is not how a professional business should operate. Extremely disappointed — avoid unless you’re okay paying for nothing.

Hi i am staff from fitbar so guys i want explain you something wich is bad for fitbar customers
There are using very very poor coloty items they are using and non hygienic staff even each staff don't have any basic food hygiene training
Even they are not giving staff salary also my salary still pending not only me more than 9 people salary 3 month 4 month s salary are pending
Please please don't order from this fitbar anything if you eat anything from long time i am sure you get seak soon
So save your life

Horrible food and bad customer service

This is a legitimate scam company. Customer service is horrible. They never take any action for any complaints. All communication is over whatsapp. They do not have physical presence or an office in the UAE. The food is mediocre and the ingredients used are questionable. Chicken tastes and feels like rubber or plastic. They skip deliveries for days and then choose to deliver at their pleasure They will not refund the delivery bag deposit.

I lost 5 kg in one month!

Fitbar has been my go to meal plan company when I am in the UAE. The first time I have tried it for a month it helped me lose 5 kgs. Also they offer wide variety of meals and I don’t have to worry about pre selecting my meals every day - I dont have time for that.

Unreliable and poor customer service

Gone so far downhill in such a short space of time. Since the end of 2024 the delivery has become later and later, and is no longer guaranteed.

I’ve been with them a year but won’t renew again.

I’d recommend looking for alternatives.

If I could give a zero star I would

If I could give a zero star I would. Similar to other customers the food delivery is late, sometimes doesn’t even deliver, with no notice of being late, so when it arrives after delivery window it is left out all night (food safety and customer health not a priority). Customer service is horrible, no follow ups, promises of management calls that never happen. Horrible, absolutely awful.

Keeps getting worse

Keeps getting worse! Delivery came very late, without notifying, without knocking the door and calling the phone. The food was left outside all night and obviously wasted. Two days in a row! Causing two days without any food - compensation? Nothing.. Just a terrible company and customer services that keeps on giving in a negative way. Management? Expect zero improvement after providing feedback and then followed by being ignored!

Mediocre food and horrible customer service

Do yourself a favor and stay away from these thieves! Food was generally Okay except the chicken mostly tasted like plastic. The service is just horrible. They cancel deliveries to suit thier convenience and don’t even refund the money for failed deliveries. They double charged my credit card and wouldn’t return that money either. Customer service is worse than non-existent, because at least you wouldn’t waste your time talking to a wall.

Do not waste your money!!!

I initially tried Fitbar as a trial and found the food to be good. Encouraged by this, I committed to a 6-month subscription after being offered a deal. Unfortunately, the quality of the food deteriorated drastically soon after.

I gave Fitbar multiple chances to improve, raising my concerns repeatedly, but nothing changed. Despite submitting detailed complaints and photos to the management, the only response I received was that there is a no cancellation policy.

Fitbar’s approach feels deceptive - they entice you to sign up for a subscription, collect payment upfront, and then fail to deliver on their promises. Currently, I am not receiving any food, and my complaints are being ignored.

Here are the specific issues I encountered:

- Unwashed vegetables, like spinach with noticeable sand, are unacceptable.
- Food was delivered in a paper bag despite only 1 replacement cooler bag at home, leading to spoiled full day of food after returning home late.
- Calorie calculations are inconsistent and inaccurate: four small egg and vegetable muffins (291g) are listed as having more fat and the same calories as four large Swiss cheese egg omelets (408g). Swiss cheese egg omelets weigh 40% and full of cheese!
- The minced meat is chewy, containing cartilage, indicative of very low quality. I requested only minced beef to be removed from my plan, yet all beef dishes were removed, leaving only chicken and shrimp options.
- The minced chicken also contains cartilage, again highlighting poor quality.
- The snacks consist only of cakes or pizza – hardly fitting for a healthy diet
- Some breakfasts are simply bread. This doesn’t align with claims of a balanced, nutritious plan.
- Additionally, portion sizes and weights are inconsistent, making it impossible to manage calorie intake accurately with this meal service.
- Fitbar has failed to correctly manage subscription holds, delivering food despite clear instructions on start and end dates for holds, and resulting in wasted deliveries.
- Numerous issues have been raised with customer service and the operations manager, yet there has been no improvement, despite repeated promises to address these concerns.

Great Food & Overall Experience

I was able to lose about 7 KGs over the course of 3 months with the help of fitbar. I've chose the lean meal plan and the best part is, i never really felt like i was on a diet. The food tastes great and you wouldn't feel a compromise on your food compared to other meal plans. Thank you for helping me out

Best service in the UAE

Best service in the UAE. Tried so many different meal plan companies and they all taste bland plus repetitive meals. With Fitbar yes I wasn’t able to choose my meals however I was always surprised with the variety every week. I lost 2 kilos in 2 weeks looking forward to loose the remaining weight.

Had a month of throwing away food or…

Had a month of throwing away food or cooking more food to add to their food.
They don’t provide enough vegetables at all and food is either bland or REALLY salty.
They don’t have menus and don’t allow you to put more than three dislikes. I signed up to lose weight and save time. I just lost money and spent more time in the kitchen. Don’t waste your money. 🗑️

Signed up for a 2 days meal trial.

Signed up for a 2 days meal trial.. was terrible! Food doesnt taste good, the timings of delivery are not at all convenient 5pm-10pm only!
Not impressed at all by their menu or food experience! Not to mention that i had to throw away 1 meal as it was impossible to eat due to the extra salt in it!
Customer service is a 3 out of 10! They dotn even try to compensate.. glad i did a 2 days trial and definitely didnt sign up for more
