Definitely worth trying I won’t buy anything else now
I’ve read some other comments that say it doesn’t last as long as stated.
I found once I understood my kittens habits and followed the tips given by customer service (really helpful 100% recommend speaking to them directly) I won’t be going back to other brands now.
Pros-
Subscription model that is actually more affordable than other brands (we use two trays as well)
Customer service truly one of the best I’ve come across
Smell… what smell? Yes just after a poo there’s a smell but when you remove that etc we’ve found only the smallest urine smell and that was after 3 weeks
Lasted full 4 weeks (3rd week slight and I mean slight smell began).
All of this and we moved home and had a kitten who transitioned through that and the change of litter. Honestly I’m impressed.
I honestly think this is great and if you follow the tips and general cleaning guide we found it really isn’t a chore like most every other litter is.
Not five star as I would need to try for another few months. I want to see if this continues we are at 6/7 weeks in and changed one tray (other tray is not used as frequently and as yet does not require a change)
Don’t buy, doesn’t do what it claims.
I’m honestly really disappointed in this litter, I was so excited to try it out after seeing really good marketing for it and all of the benefits listed just made it sound like a really good deal, it’s supposed to be none clumping, 100% absorbent of smell and liquids and claims to last a month, but after switching ONLY 3 DAYS AGO it’s already failing to live up to all those claims, I’ve been scooping and stirring after every time my cat uses her litter (mind you I only have 1 cat) and her litter tray already smells very strongly of urine (way worse than her usual litter) and the litter is clumping in wet patches at the bottom of her tray, it’s not an amount issues as I used their measuring tool provided and she has the perfect volume for 1 cat which is an entire bag, can’t see this lasting for more than a week so for nearly £20 a bag this is ludicrous, don’t waste your money.
Best around
We started using fitlitter around a year ago and we honestly would never ever use anything else. 5 cats and it never smells if used properly! Saved us from a vet bill too!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Litter – Highly Recommended
We’ve been using Fitlitter now for around 5-6 months, we have a Maine Coon kitten (nearly 1 yr old) and our Ragdoll‑cross cat (5 yr old), and it’s been absolutely brilliant. Both cats took to it straight away with no issues at all. 1 bag usually lasts 3-4 weeks (more often than not just over 3 weeks)
What we love most is that there’s no tracking around the house, which has been a game‑changer compared to other litters we’ve tried. It also does an excellent job masking smells, keeping everything fresh between clean‑ups.
It only needs a quick daily stir and removal of poo, which is super easy and hassle‑free. Overall, we’re really happy with it and definitely plan on sticking with Fitlitter. Highly recommended!
Will not buy again
Arrived swiftly, loved the idea of less cleaning. Day 4 and it's all yellow and very smelly, after poo picking and swirling twice every day. Very expensive and the floor is covered in sand. Will not buy again, going back to wood pellets and daily cleaning.... shame, all hype.
BEST litter ever.
Best litter ever, hands down. No smells!!!! So easy to maintain as you just scoop the poop, mix the wet in and done. Yes, its slightly more expensive but the convenience and how it keeps my house odor free is priceless. Been using it for nearly a year and I will never go back.
I do recommend a stainless steel litter box as it makes the once a month cleaning out so much easier.
I have a Snow White female Bengal cat…
I have a Snow White female Bengal cat who I was using wood chip litter which I found unsatisfactory for her to use. I was researching cat litters on line and came across fit litter which I was impressed with so l went ahead and ordered some. When I received it I swapped it over. My bengal took to it straight away she loved it, we now have no horrible toilet smells from her and we find it a lot cleaner than wood chips which use to track all around the house. Fit litter stays on the litter tray mat which is very easy to clean up. This litter has been a godsend for me and my cat, will use all the time from now on. Fantastic result and a brilliant product. Thank you Fit Litter 👍🏻😀
The urine odor it gives off is nauseating!
I didn’t purchase this myself, but I’ve visited two friends who use it for their cats, and both of their apartments smelled strongly of cat urine. I was genuinely shocked. The odor seemed to come in waves, and when we were eating, it honestly felt like the smell had seeped into the food, I’m not even exaggerating, it was nauseating. Later, one of my friends sent me a 50% off voucher, but after that experience, there was absolutely no way I’d consider it. I'm sticking with my dusty wood chip litter that really minimises smells and last long.
Does exactly what they say !
Does exactly what they say !! I’ve got 2 cats and was always buying , sprays or plug ins for smelly litter. I was sceptical at first , but I’ve been buying this for last 6 months and it’s a game changer, cats love it and I can use it in my automatic cat cleaner!! Smell is non existent! As 2 cats probably last 2/3 weeks! I’ve even got my nephew and son buying it !!
So ignore the negative reviews and at least try ! It’s easy to cancel.
Great Litter, Great Customer Service
We have tried a few different litters. Of the ones we have tried this is both the best and the best value. The odour control is excellent, it does track a bit but the least of the litters we have tried (having a litter mat keeps most of it contained), and the pH indicator is a handy way to get ahead of urinary issues (thankfully we've seen no problems yet which is reassuring).
Additonally, quite a niche thing but one of our cats sticks her face in the litter a bunch of times when she's getting ready to do a poo. She used to come up absolutely covered in litter and we'd have to chase her around trying clean up her face. This, thankfully does not stick to her face at all.
Contrary to other reviews we have not had issues with the litter turning blue when changed frequently enough (it did happen the first time we used it but we kept the same litter going for too long).
All that said, that praise comes from not following the instructions on the litter. The litter says to use a whole bag and change it every month for 1 cat or every 2 weeks for 2 cats. My cats found it way too deep and were hesitant to use it, so now I use half a bag and change it once a week (for 2 cats), which means the litter lasts just as long as FitLitter say it should, and we also benefit from the odour control and the litter doesn't get too wet in that time. If you've tried it, had issues and still have some left maybe give it a go with half a bag, changing twice as often and see how you go.
Deliveries have usually come on time although the last one was delayed by about a week as it was caught up with Royal Mail. I contacted customer service and received a reply the same day to say they were sending me 2 extra bags by priority mail to tide me over until the usual order came. Couldn't have asked for much more than that.
Fit litter is a money saving clean product 100,%
I have a large indoor cat with thyroid problem so she pees alot until I found fit litter I must of spent hundreds of £s cos even a 20 litre bag of litter would last maybe 3 weeks. Fit litter stays in tray not all over kitchen flooring I only check tray once a day whereas before it was 3 or more times a day. I can't say enough how fit litter has been a money saving life changing product.
Results exceeded my expectations
I bought this litter out of desperation 2 weeks ago, not that hopeful it would be worth it. I wish I'd bought it sooner. the mess and smell of my car's previous litter made the experience of being a cat owner stressful at times. My cat took to this new stuff right away, and the smell is gone. My only issue so far is that the fine litter while easy to scoop, gets out of the box more than other brands. I've bought a new mat that might make this a non issue, otherwise the product does what it says. Even if it doesn't last the full 4 weeks (I don't know yet) it's still worth it for me without a doubt.
Who’s leaving these bad reviews? This stuff rocks!
I am genuinely shocked by how low the score is on here! It’s honestly a game changer for me, this stuff is basically magic. If anything they’re downplaying how good it is.
My cat is small and also goes outside but I get closer to 2 months out of a bag with my smart litter tray, that’s with daily usage (even if only once on some of the days). The stuff is insanely good. No smell at all. When I do need to clean out the smart litter tray it’s cleaner after 8 weeks with this stuff than it used to be after 1 week with normal litter. No exaggeration. Literally mind blown.
Thank you Fit Litter for vastly improving my pet owner experience and my life along with it. I can’t tell you how much I used to hate cleaning out my smart litter tray
False Advertising on Key Promotion Points
Pros:
- Does have High Absorption
- It is cost effective (if you can poke up with the smell!)
- Easy Cancellation with subscription.
Cons:
- Poor Odour control - very Smelly after a couple of days even on daily cleaning as stirring as advertised
- Colour change is false advice - when it gets old after about 5-7days it’ll always go blue when it is used a lot (I thought my cat has an infection but wasn’t the case. You only truly know with this when a fresh litter is put in, do not rely on this!!)
- Too fine and Dust like
- Can be messy to clean (you find it everywhere)
Overall it can be cost effective but is poorly advertised - doesn’t control odour and does not benefit cat health in anyway. I would also say it only lasts 3 weeks your pushing it at 4 weeks.
Expensive, doesn't last, marketing lies, smells
Absolute nonsense that a bag lasts a month. Per cat it lasts 2 or 3 weeks maximum before filling the house with an ammonia smell. Doesn't matter how often you tend to it or clear it or stir it, the smell is intense.
They also claim to have shipped it and the courier doesn't receive it for up to 5 or 7 days later so I have regularly had to buy other litter.
This is also one of the most expensive litters out there. Avoid. It's a con
Does not give what it promises
I started using this product thinking it was a genius solution, judging by what they advertised: litter staying fresh for a whole month, if you scoop the litter and take out the poo everyday. This is my second bag and it is definitely not how it goes. It hardly stays fresh for two weeks and after that 1) you start to smell and unbearable ammoniac odour. 2) The litter becomes green, not because there is a problem with the cat but because the litter is used. The first month, I tried to cure my cat for cystitis then realised once I changed the litter, her pee was yellow again. The only good thing is that it is harder to bring the granules too far from the litter box, as they are tiny, and the fact that the cat litter box is getting cleaned more easily while changing the litter. The most important part is that my cat won’t stop complaining about something at the end of the two-week periods and I finally understood that she is complaining about the litter.
The fit litter lasts for about 4 days…
The fit litter lasts for about 4 days before it needs replacing. Customer service is awful! They do not care if you aren't happy, despite the advertised refund, you will not get the refund if not satisfied! The only good thing is the texture, but I've recently discovered a better litter. Very expensive and overpriced for what fit litter is, does not live up to the hype.
Won’t last 1 month that’s completely false
It was ok to start with but definitely won’t last a month. It lasts as long as most other cat litter does. We had to change after 5 days as the litter was saturated and starting to smell. That’s with stirring daily. So the overall cost of it doesn’t make it worthwhile. It also tracks everywhere
It's got to be the worst cat litter I've ever used.
It's got to be the worst cat litter I've ever tried. Within 2 weeks the smell of ammonia was unbearable. Possibly dangerous. I've had to dump the lot of it and have gone back to a corn fibre cat litter.
Doesn’t do what it says
Doesn’t do what it says. I scooped and sifted regularly but it didn’t last more than six days. I do have two cats but would have expected longer for the price. The texture of the dry litter is nice but once it stops absorbing, it turns blue and it leaked through the liner. Save your money and continue with more cost effective brands!
