Beware of these guys terrible to deal with beware they never repair anything and if you owe a penny they will hound you with bully boy bailiffs stay away

Took only 2-3 weeks from initial enquiry to finish for a composit fence at the end of the garden and a gate/ fence to the side of the house.

On fitting day, Luke and Shaun arrived, both very polite and ready for work. Despite the weather (raining on and off for most of the day) they got on with the job in hand, removing the old fence and gate as requested and had half of the new fence erected before cease work time that day. The project was then completed the following day, including a hedgehog hole in the fence as requested.

Extremely pleased with the end product and can’t praise Luke and Shaun enough for their politeness, letting me know what was happening etc if required.

All in all, will use this firm again when we are looking at more fencing and recommend them for their politeness, quick response to our request and also a
BIG thumbs up to Luke and Shaun for their hard work.

It was a first rate experience dealing with Fitrite from beginning to end.
The guys turn up on time on the day of fitting in the most atrocious conditions and just got stuck in and never stopped all day. The finished product is fantastic. The fitters are a credit to the company.
I would recommend Fitrite to anyone looking for decking.

Just had completed our garden office! It’s taken an incredible amount of effort, expertise, persistence and dedication, in weather varying from very hot to sudden tropical monsoon-type downpours, from Mick Scales to achieve this over the past six days, working long hours with no breaks, overcoming continual picking list shortages, even working alone for the last 2 days. Bravo, sir!

Although our first experience with fit right was excellent while they are interested in receiving the money, installing the men were fantastic very tidy polite nothing was to much trouble for them BUT the company’s aftercare is disgusting we have a gate that is not fit for purpose it has split creaked with 6 months so many emails going back and forth and have now decided not to answer any contact me at all I would not recommend use In this company

It says a lot about a company when you have a job consisting of composite decking and fencing worth in excess of £20k and they can't even be bothered to turn up to give you a quote. No phone call, no apology, no re-arranging of appointment.Waited in for over hour and a half.

I have had an amazing composite fence with Gate. Right from the start this Company are amazing right from the sales person to the people in head office and the fitters. The fitters were very helpful and I’ve done an amazing job. I have put my fence on TikTok and it has had 22,000 views in 36 hours and lots of amazing comments, if you want composite fence come to these guys I will be coming back for my composite decking.

I have agreed with Fitrite Fencing & Decking Ltd to have fencing and a new decking built in my back garden. The Job began in mid-November 2023; due to the inclement weather conditions the work took two weeks to complete. During this period I tried to contact the office on several occasions to discussed my payment options and was told someone will call me back and when I tried and tried no answer.

I deposited £4,500 then paid an additional £6,500 with a balance of 3,600 of which I asked to be paid off on a monthly instalment of £250 per month and this was rejected.

Suddenly my smaller sister fell down with a heart attack and died so I had to travel to bury her. These mitigating circumstances has added to my expenses.
When I returned from my sister's burial, my neighbour who is a contractor informed me that my fence was twisted and showed me a 3 metre opened gap at the decking which was left opened. Afterwards, when I entered my home I was faced with a debt recovery letter.

Ever since, I have sent contacted DCBL; the bailiffs as well as Fitrite sending them photos of the bent fencing which appeared to be wabbled and of the opened gap in the decking. DCBL notified me that it was not their concern regarding the standard of the work being done, rather their interest is that the payment be made.

I therefore informed DCBL and Fitrite that I feel as though I am being financially abuse and taken advantage of as an aged woman who had no prior knowledge as to what to look for with the decking and fencing. To be honest when I looked at it; it appeared to be completed.

There is no remorse from the company: in fact, as a Diabetic and Heart patient ( had a heart attack 2019) this entire situation has caused me tremendous palpitations and unboreable chest pains. Now I can only afford to pay £100 per month as I will be left with £150 for the entire month to survive on.

Why have no one contacted me as yet? Again, I have sent pictures to the accounts department since there is no complaints department about the incomplete job as this is deemed as unacceptable conduct from builders who are expected to provide efficient, excellent service to its customers.

I am now left with no choice but to go to a debt recovery team and consolidate all my debt and pay a fixed amount on a monthly basis.

Please be careful when you shop online for trades person.

Our decking was installed by FITRITE last week. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results, a brilliant job done by Ricardo and Shaun. No mess or fuss just good honest workmanship. The final product looks great, strong and sturdy. Also a thumbs up to Chris Cunningham, very pleasant and informative in his advice all questions answered and NO PRESSURE. I would not have any problem in recommending to anyone.

Excellent service came out in a day to assess job. Job obviously not done yet but customer service excellent
