Colin the technician was superb. Very professional and explained everything. He did an amazing job.
The call handler on the other hand who told me that I should have used common sense because it was torrential rain and wind so the work could not be carried out on the day booked, was not an ideal experience.
I was told that in future if it is raining to go with the technician to my local multi story car park to do the job.
I do not think after paying £946 for a new windscreen that I should have to drive to my local multi story car park for the work to be done, as if the car park would allow this! Baring in mind that at 8am I messaged FixGlass to alert them of the weather & if acknowledged the job could have been re-scheduled.

Great job, poor comms…
They did a really good job of replacing the windscreen. Fitter obv v competent. Communication around the job was confusing. I had emails asking me to pay when I already had, ditto to schedule the job. On the day it was rescheduled twice, and comms here were difficult. Phone contact was faint and mumbly, and notification that the fitter was on his way sent by email not sms.
But I'm happy with the result & sure they can sort their comms out.

Booking was easy and took no time at all easy to upload photos of the car and the problem.
Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. The technician phoned with an update on what time he was going to arrive.
The whole process took 40 mins.
