WARNING: Fraudulent Websites Pretending to Be the Authentic Fix Dessert Chocolatier
I want to warn everyone about multiple fraudulent websites that mimic the authentic producer of the well-known chocolate brand Fix Dessert Chocolatier. These fake websites use slight variations in their URLs to confuse buyers and exploit their trust.
On 02.12.2024, I placed an order for AED 820 (the minimum required amount) on one of these fraudulent websites. After completing the order process, I was asked to continue communications via WhatsApp. They provided the following payment options: bank transfer or cryptocurrency, and I opted for the bank transfer.
RESULT: I never received the products, and despite my repeated follow-ups, I haven’t received any response. The scammers have disappeared, and my money is gone.
KEY DETAILS ABOUT THE FRAUDULENT WEBSITES:
The scammers have created three different fake websites with minor variations in their URLs:
Fix desserts chocolatiers (with two "s" after both "dessert" and "chocolatier") note the extra "s".
Fix desserts chocolatier (with an "s" after "dessert" only) note the extra "s".
Fix dessert chocolatiers (with an "s" after "chocolatier" only) note the extra "s".
All three fraudulent sites claim to be the original Fix Dessert Chocolatier and use the genuine brand name and some their imagines in their text and logos. However, their URL variations with extra "s" aim to confuse customers and appear legitimate.
THE AUTHENTIC WEBSITE:
The real Fix Dessert Chocolatier is without any "s" after dessert and after "chocolatier" (note the extra "s" in fraudolent sites) .
Orders for the authentic brand can be placed through their official Instagram account, accessible by scanning the QR code found on genuine chocolate packages.
None of the fraudulent websites have a verified Instagram account.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
If you search for "Fix Dessert Chocolatier" on Google, you may also encounter the fraudulent URL wnx06q-ce.myshopify.
On WhatsApp, they claim their website is one of these fraudulent URLs, and they redirect users between them to confuse and mislead.
CONTACT NUMBERS USED:
+971563785761 (used during my order but that can change contact number be carefully).
SCAM TACTICS:
They use a chat feature on their fake websites to engage users quickly.
They pressure buyers to pay through bank transfers or cryptocurrency, promising faster delivery for prepayment.
In their texts and promotional materials, they use the original brand name Fix Dessert Chocolatier, but their URLs reveal the added "s", exposing the fraud.
WARNING: This scam has been carefully designed to create confusion among buyers. The scammers are highly skilled and professional, frequently changing their URLs, WhatsApp numbers, and tactics to continue deceiving others.
ADVICE: Avoid these fraudulent websites and numbers at all costs! Always verify the URL carefully and ensure there are no extra letters ("s" in this case) in the domain name.
I have reported the incident to the authorities in the hope that they can stop this scam and prevent others from falling into the same trap.
STAY AWAY and report these websites and numbers if you come across them!
