I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Fixit Dubai.

I booked an appointment via WhatsApp last Monday and provided my full address and location map. The assigned staff contacted me the same day and we confirmed a visit for 10:00 AM today. I even sent a reminder the night before, which was acknowledged.

On the day itself, I was in contact with the staff while on my way and was again asked to send my location, which I did. Despite all this, 10:00 AM passed with no update. When I followed up, I was suddenly told the visit would be at 12:30 PM instead.

There was no prior notice of any delay.

When I called the supervisor, I was told the staff was attending another client that was taking longer than expected. This could have easily been communicated earlier, especially since we were already messaging that morning—but it wasn’t.

This was a complete waste of my time. I had to travel from my current residence to a new, unfurnished apartment specifically for this appointment.

Very poor communication and lack of professionalism. I would not recommend if you value your time.

Fixit ran off with my money and never finished the job

IMPORTANT: FIXIT TOOK MY MONEY AND NEVER COMPLETED THE WORK.
They made us prepay 75%. It was supposed to be a complete renovation with wooden structures, electrical installation, curtains, etc.
At first, the company seemed trustworthy, but as the days went by, we realized they were scamming us. A young guy with no electrical knowledge started the electrical work and didn't finish it. He tried to do an electrical installation with dangerous materials that could have caused fire. After that, no one else ever came to work (look at pictures how they left work).
When the completion date passed, I demanded full refund (which was stipulated in the contract), but they won't give it back, even though they know I've filed a complaint!
It's been a nightmare. We have invoices, payment receipts, photos, videos... But they don't care, they won't give us our money back.
We had to hire another company to fix what they started and do the works, paying twice for the same.
PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY AND NEVER PAY THEM IN ADVANCE. I LOST ALL MY MONEY.
