This man has issues and needs to be struck of the register

Unfortunately google shadow banned my review about this guy (and likely other peoples too) which gives a false impression of his ratings and is terrible for would be customers/patients. He is a rude, condescending, patronising, pugnacious and arrogant person who gives a good pitch in his "free consultation" in order to draw you in to paying an extortionate price for a session which completely fails to live up to his self-proclaimed abilities he gives the impression of. He had the audacity of blaming and belittling me just because i said i didn't feel like i was in much of a trance and did not respond to some things in the way he expected. His rhetoric and attitude was generally discourteous and he made remarks such as "your looking at me with dead eyes" and "obviously your not the most comical guy" when i found something funny, so was judging me based on his perception of my appearance being the very first time we'd even met (online) and the fact that he can make such an opinion on someone when he barely knows them is ignorant and unprofessional which goes to show what this man's personality is like. I provided all the information i felt was necessary for the purpose before the session, and approached everything with an open mind, taking the session seriously and doing my best to get something out of it but this person is too pretentious for their own good. At the end of the session he said for me to let him know if i wanted to go for the second one and basically implied that it probably wasn't worth it, in which case i had zero intention of doing so and so did not engage him. Yet he still messaged me the following week asking if i am going to attend my appointment.. interesting. The fundamental reason why i have left this review is not simply because i got nothing out of the session (understandably things can be a hit and miss) but is solely down to his sordid attitude and the way he made me feel. Not being able to help someone with an issue you proclaim to be an expert in and charge a stupendous amount for is one thing, but to make them feel worse off after is another and inexcusable. I would be skeptical of many of the 5 star reviews and so called "health care professionals" who are on googles featured/ top listings now days, bearing in mind the proliferation of therapies and treatments within the private sector which expanded and profited massively after the dubious covid pandemic; which many of these fundamentally left-brained and shallow minded "health care professionals" massively benefited from and took advantage of the mental health crisis fallout which resulted..

Really odd and shocking behaviour

Really odd and shocking behaviour from someone who proports to be in the therapeutic field. After some back and forth with his assistant and mine to book a date, one was set. The assistant sent me some materials and a request for a deposit that went into my spam folder. That was a Thursday. On the Monday I received a 'nudge' email from James Mallinson asking for the deposit payment. I saw that email first thing Tuesday morning and responded that I would pay later that day. Barely four hours later I then received a very stroppy and rude email saying I had missed two deadlines and that showed a lack of commitment to treatment. So very very odd and narcissistic. As if I’m meant to be waiting by my email box to respond in less than 24hrs to his demands? I can imagine that if his treatments don’t work on anyone it will be their fault for ‘lack of commitment’. I’m actually grateful he showed himself to be such an ogre, but nonetheless, not someone I would trust with my wellbeing. I have now found another consultant (Darren Marks) who seems much more professional.
