My wife bought some of your flapjacks which I have enjoyed eating but I am wondering at what cost NOW that I have studied the empty packaging - the 3 star rating reflects my original enjoyment, the loss of 2 stars reflects what I have found out on the packaging. I am hoping that feedback will indicate change will be made by a chosen date. If that cannot be achieved I shall need to review my star rating lower.
I suspect that my taste buds have been tricked by the product being almost a third (31.2%) sugar and containing mono- and diglycerides - quite unhealthy ingredients. Worse still the flapjack contains Palm Oil. Mono - culture Palm Oil production threatens wild life globally wherever it is grown
The packaging fails to identify that it is recyclable - so I suspect it is not.
I have written just prior to this review to the company requesting packaging and ingredients are changed to be more environmentally friendly to the planet and to consumers general health.
We shall not purchase again unless changes are made as suggested above.
