Where in the world is Flash Van Lines? Not to be found on any map, location on planet Earth! I’ve been waiting for them since October 25th with my storage items!! Oops! They didn’t pick them up yet!! No one has contacted me but I have phoned, messaged and emailed many times. Flash has not responded at all! They have over $2000 of my dollars though. Clark, Corey, Bryan, Ryan, Solomon….where are you? Perhaps the BBB, authorities, your bank account at Citi may know how to find you? I’ll give them a try….

I would leave zero stars but apparently you have to leave one to write a review. This company is unreliable and unprofessional. The window they give you is just a courtesy to show up last minute and try to get more money out of you. Being lied to and saying that a customer said something they did not is horrific. Ray was less than helpful and is making a move for a senior citizen beyond stressful. I would never use this company, recommend this company, or let this company stay in business with the way they go about themselves. They take your money and leave you high and dry.

This was the worst, unprofessional move we have ever experienced after 25 years of moving through the military. I realize now that Flash Van Lines is only a broker but I hold them directly responsible for this because of your lack of vetting of the companies you allow to contract with. Rhema Transportation LLC out of Grand Prairie TX was clueless when it came to household packing and moving. First of all they showed up 7 days late for a 3000 cubic foot move with a 2600 cubic foot truck and when it got full they just left what was left. Almost every box packed by them had broken items simple because they did not properly wrap each item. They just threw them in a box. There idea of wrapping and padding was to shrink wrap everything and then put it in a box with none or very little padding. And almost every piece of furniture had some damage. We have several antiques and every one of them was damaged. A hand carved dressing table actually broke in two. Another example is an antique Secretary desk that was not emptied before shrink wrapping then turned upside down during loading, leg broke off of it. Leg broke off another antique table. We had items set aside in a do not pack area and they got packed so we had to find them and unpack them. They packed the butter dish, butter included as well as a couple of live plants. The top it off the used perused materials and boxes with writing on them from the rooms they came from and to make matters worse then did not label any of the new boxes with content and room it came from. We paid $3000 for the premium pack/unpack service and that just did not happen. I called Rhema many times (8-10) and received zero return calls, if a live person didn’t answer at the time of the call we wouldn’t be hearing from Rhema that day. After 12 days with no contact the delivery the truck showed up 6 hours late almost 4 PM with only a driver. About the only positive thing with this move was that Rhema contracted a Family owned moving company out of Hastings Nebraska to help unload. They were very good but all they were paid to do was unload. Needless to say the only packing/unpacking service we got at the delivery point was 2 beds put together so we had a place to sleep. It was late and a very long day. 100 percent dissatisfied with this move. Initially Eric at Flash assured me that a Flash Van Lines truck would show up for our move and that was an untruth. Flash has zero Customer Service after they get paid in fact when I called them to inform them about the events of the move she said if you have your shipment now we will close the account. Nothing, not even the expected I am so sorry. I would not trust them ever to do the right thing.

We booked this company for our move. They took our money in June and never showed up to pick up our stuff in September. They then told us they would only give us half of the over $1200 we had already given them back. Moving is stressful enough without the lack of a good moving company.

I scheduled this company for an out of state relocation. I did so about a month before the move. The day they were supposed to show up I called several times asking when to expect the movers and they didn’t answer. I left several voicemails. When I did finally get to talk to someone they said they were having technical difficulties and I’d be contacted soon. I did finally get a text saying they would try to be there tomorrow (Friday) but may not until Saturday. We were given the number to the manager to speak with. He was very unpleasant on the phone and it was already a frustrating situation as we were supposed to be at our destination by this point. We ended up moving ourselves. While trying to get the refund the manager was extremely rude. This was extremely disappointing as we signed a contract for a service to be provided we never received. We will never schedule a move with them again. Save yourself the hassle and disappointment.

**edit** after reading the reply to the company I would like to clarify for those reading this. They had no problems calling me to schedule, but they never returned calls when we were supposed to be moved. We never received a call back to be updated on the situation even after being told multiple times they would call us back. I only got one text about the fact they would be delayed. Anytime we would call for an update they were rude about us calling even though we only wanted information of what was happening seeing as we weren’t getting any. It was made very clear that there was a date we needed to be moved by. There were additional fees because the move was delayed we were not compensated for. Due to the lack of communication and the disrespect we have received during phone calls, this company absolutely does not deserve the 5 star reviews it has.

I was told we would be getting a refund of the deposit. It was said it would take 5-7 days. It’s been a week and a half and I still don’t have the deposit let alone any other compensation they replied saying they offered.

Flash van lines was incredible. They gave me a reasonable price and the movers were very efficient and quick. I will definitely be using this service again!!!!

I used Flash Van Lines for my move from chicago to Florida and I was very impressed. They were very professional and took care of my needs. They even put my boxes in the designated rooms! I would highly recommend Flash Van Lines for your next move.
