Brilliant company

Brilliant company, from initial booking to the removal itself. My move was really difficult at one end, not easy at the other end, but the guys couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful throughout. No complaints, no moans, just smiles, not one thing damaged- they took really good care throughout. I would absolutely recommend them for any house move, and would use them again with no hesitation at all. Well done Flemming's!

Simply left at 4pm leaving is to find hotel

We really thought we'd made right choice. The form were very helpful in pre move and seemed professional.

Sadly on the day things got very disappointing.

We had asked before hand about cut off times as we were at end of the chain. We were told 4.30.

On the day the guys were friendly but quite strict on what they could and couldn't take. Fair enough but meant we had a LOT still to take.

They left at 1pm and told us to call them at 1pm when we had keys

When time went on to 2pm we were charged a penalty. Similar at 3pm. At 4.05 we were told keys were "imminent" but the Removal crew had simply left with no warning and all our belongings. We were forced to stay on a hotel for the night while our buyers removal men worked well onto the vending to get everything done.

What's worse is they don't feel they did anything wrong!

Really happy with my parents moving day

Really happy with my parents move from Cupar to Livingston. Guys packed for my parents and did an amazing job. Loaded van day before which worked well for our situation. Moving in worked really well. Really efficient and fast.
Couldn't ask for more.

Disappointing experience — avoid if you value your belongings and good customer service

This company markets itself as family friendly, but that only holds true until something goes wrong. They smashed my 55” TV during a move — a TV that was in “as new” condition and cost me £700 (with receipt to prove it). One of the removal guys reassured me not to worry because “they’re pretty good at looking after customers.” That couldn’t have been further from the truth.

Their response? A £200 offer that didn’t come close to covering the damage. One of the owners, Graeme, has been impossible to reach — he doesn’t take calls or return messages. The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

I’m now escalating this with the British Association of Removers in the hope of getting some justice. Until then, my advice is simple: avoid this company. If anything goes wrong, don’t expect them to take responsibility.
