Great quality even after 18 years!

We are reusing my little brother's bed for our son. My brother had the classic bed for 18 years and the quality is still so good so we are happy to use it. We just bought and installed the safety rail and it fits perfectly.

Bad design for the end user.

I bought a wall shelf where the design of the product it self was absolutely without the customer in mind with regards to hanging it. No screws were supplied so we needed to purchase those. Though, the brackets for the screwheads set a max size of the head at D5mm which does not exist for screws big enough to support the shelf itself(MIN 5mm screw for wall support) I had to drill the brackets to increase the slot size and also file the heads of the M5 molly screws I needed for our plaster walls. This meant also, since there are two fixation points said to be separated by 484mm in the included sheet but 483mm in actual measurement that if I was even 1mm off when drilling the wall I would not be able to mount the shelf. There would need to have been another mounting system for this shelf designed, such as a separate bracket which can take up a bit of tolerance from the drilling op.

Customer Service experience was slow and not helpful

The customer service experience was just awful.

I love the products, which is why I ordered again from Flexa. However, this time I neede support twice and both times the waiting time to get an answer was 2-3 days and when the answer came it was as unhelpful as it can possibly be.
First time I needed help to schedule delivery and after days of waiting for an asnwer I got :"Unfortunately, we didn't handle this fast enough." Because my goods were already on their way.
Second time, I asked for supprt to exchange an item and got a response to "buy a new one :)". No further help, no suggestion that I can use the from to return the item that was wrong. Just keep buying our goods and don't contact us for support attitude.

I am very disappointed and will discontinue my purchases at Flexa until you fix your Customer Support.

Abysmal customer service

I've tried to be very patient with Flexa / Flexaworld but my patience has run out now. Started communicating with Flexa in January 2025 about the parts I needed to buy to adapt an existing Flexa bed to have a trundle bed. That order process took about 2 months of back and forth, owing to how slowly Flexa respond.

The parts came in April and I set aside a Saturday to assemble everything. So it was pretty frustrating to find that Flexa had forgotten to include a whole box of fixings. Those parts came in mid May and I tried to assemble the bed, only to find that there were still parts missing. On informing Flexa I was told that the parts would be sent out, then they wouldn't as they didn't have them in stock, then they would (that was mid June) and I've not heard anything since... I've sent four emails which Flexa just ignores now.

If you were paying IKEA prices or cheaper maybe you could understand why the customer service was poor, but Flexa's products aren't cheap and when things are missing then you expect the problem to be fixed quickly. It's bonkers that it's taken me over six months to try to adapt my daughter's bed and it's still not showing any signs of being fully resolved.

Still waiting on a balance board order…

Still waiting on a balance board order from before Christmas. There was no tracking number with the confirmation of sale so could not follow the packages journey. I have had email replies about my enquiry but with little real concern or action. It's been 4 weeks since my order.

I have been wanting to return my goods…

I have been wanting to return my goods back for 2 weeks and have been writing to customer service every day for 2 weeks now. To date, Flexa has not found a way to provide me with a return label for free. I've never experienced anything like this!!!! I am being sent emails with links that cannot be opened and instead of finding a solution I am supposed to forward these emails.
Customer service hasn't responded to me in the chat for 4 days. I've never experienced anything like that and wouldn't order something from Flexa again.

Nice bed, terrible customer service

We ordered in July a very nice bed for our son on the website. When we received it, the mattress was torn. After several exchanges with the customer service they were unable to find a solution or send a new mattress, with made-up excuses. We finally gave up and requested to be refunded, which they agreed, but we are still waiting for the money (3 months later). We have bought many furniture with them before, but this is the last time.

Beautiful bed, complicated design and worst customer service.

Avoid this company

We've had Flexa for some time and initially they were very good. However, the TV reception has been absolutely dire over the past few weeks as it keeps stopping for up to 30+seconds at a time, which is not great with any programme but useless when watching sport. I have complained on their website, my partner went in person to their stand in Dos Mares when they promised to send out a technician but no one showed. Don't touch this company with a barge-pole.

top quality products

We are very happy with choosing Flexa. We found the price high but we are still happy we went with Flexa because the details make an actual difference.
There is detailed thinking put in the products to allow for cable storage, lighting etc. The texture, proportions and overall feel is excellent.
The ordering was easy and the delivery very fast.
The quality of the wood is very good and once assembled the pieces are robust and can take a lot of weight.

We are only sad we measured wrongly and did not order an additional cupboard that we need and now cannot have free shipping for that piece.

A couple of suggestions from a user's point of view:

For the Schreibtisch Überbau:
The order of the assembly should be modified. We ordered 2 pieces. For the first we followed the steps of the instructions booklet. It was extremely difficult to place the back piece. It needed a lot of force to slide it in and took a lot of effort and time. For the second, we put the back pieces early in, and we assembled to whole thing in no time.
Also, we think that the shleves will look significantly prettier if Flexa gives plastic cups (white or in the colour of the wood) to cover the visible screws.

Great product and fantastic customer service

They have great products, both in regards to quality and fitting the needs for children. They are on the pricey side, but given the good quality, its well justified.
I am genuinely impressed with the exceptional customer service provided by them. Their team exhibited a remarkable degree of helpfulness, flexibility, and understanding throughout my experience.
