Company scam you put of every little…

Company scam you out of every little penny possible charge nearly the cost of a 28 day rolling contract to deliver a car and over charge mileage.
Add extra costs on wen price agreed was set and then get charged more. and how they work out charging over 25 percent vat is beyond me. Doesn't come with insurance so be prepared. Company are scam merchants who lie through their teeth stay well clear. If you read many other reviews I'm not the only one saying this they lie lie lie.

Be also prepared never to get any deposit back you pay and don't believe any of the sales representatives their lying scumbags called flexed but ran by AUTOHORN wonder why that is because they prob got sick of the bad reviews given.
WEN CAR WAS GIVEN BACK NOTHING BUT THREATS AND ABUSIVE EMAILS TRYING TO SCAM ME out of life and limb

Not really as flexible as promised

Not really as flexible as promised, happy to take money on 28 day rolling contract, so not a monthly plan, payments seem to hit you early each month, not enough flexibility to change cars, did 3 months with a VW Tiguan cost over £2k, so very, very expensive, dropped them quick

Hidden charges

I can see why reviews here mention hidden charges, because they are hidden.

Called up and was told it would cost £250 for car delivery every time. The website clearly says no additional costs.

It seems dishonest and is the only reason why they appear cheaper.

Absolutely the Worst Car Subscription…

Absolutely the Worst Car Subscription Service I’ve Ever Used – Avoid at All Costs

After eight years of using car subscription services – including Pivotal, Europcar, Sixt, and Onto – I can say without hesitation that Flexed (Autohorn) is by far the worst I’ve ever dealt with.

From the moment I subscribed, it was a battle. Their approach is riddled with hidden charges, fabricated invoices, and appalling customer service. You’ll spend more time fighting off unjustified bills than actually enjoying the car. Every minor detail becomes a chargeable offense, and unless you comb through each invoice with a fine-tooth comb, you’ll get stung.

Jon from their finance department deserves a special mention – and not in a good way. His tactics are both unprofessional and dishonest. On multiple occasions, I was told that he had sent emails and made calls which he clearly hadn’t. When asked to provide proof, there was none. I even have emails from him admitting billing mistakes – “Sorry, that was an error, thanks for pointing it out” – as if that’s acceptable after the fact.

If you’re not double-checking every penny, you’ll be paying for things that were never agreed upon. It’s exhausting, and frankly, unacceptable in 2025. I handed the car back after just over a month – despite being someone who regularly spends £1,000 to £1,500 per month on car subscriptions. That should say everything.

This is not a one-off bad experience. This is systematic incompetence at best and intentional profiteering at worst.

You’ve been warned. Steer well clear. There are far better, more transparent services out there.

Reply from Flexed

Hi Fiaz,

I’ve taken a close look at the concerns you've raised and would like to respond directly to clarify our position.

The charges you’ve referenced were clearly outlined in the official quote and the lease agreement that you reviewed and signed prior to the start of your subscription. These documents detail the terms of your subscription, including costs related to mileage, vehicle damage, and traffic offences.

In addition to the signed agreement, we aim to maintain complete transparency by providing this information openly on our website and in our terms and conditions. We also sent email alerts to inform you when your mileage exceeded the agreed contractual limit—giving you the opportunity to take action before any additional charges were applied.

We understand that unexpected charges can be frustrating, which is why we make every effort to communicate clearly and proactively throughout the duration of a customer’s subscription. In this case, all charges applied are consistent with the terms of your agreement.

We are, of course, happy to speak with you directly should you wish to discuss any part of your experience further. Please feel free to contact us.

Kind Regards,
Mark

Avoid

What started as a nice experience turned into a shoking one.

Couple of days after I have payed my "joining fee" I got hit by a car and put in a wheelchair for a few weeks.

As the car was obviously not needed anymore and it won't be for a while I have emailed back and asked for the fee to be refunded.

Was slapped with a "not refundable" email and offered a "no fee" deal further down the line when needed.

Newsflash, it's 2024.

Bank is already involved and Monday morning further legal action will be taken.

First class company

I have used flexed for approximately 7 years and always had great service and been given a wide range of cars to choose from. As the name suggests, when my circumstances changed and I needed to swap the vehicle at short notice, nothing was too much trouble and I was in a new car with minimal stress or fuss. Would highly recommend.

Another great call with the customer team today. Thank you !!

I’ve had my car through through Flexed for the past two and a half years. I wrote this having come from another call with the team there. Having this flexibility in car choices and being able to switch when I’ve wanted to, has been great for me. Wrapping in full costs works for my budgeting and certainty, which I love.

Excellent leasing company

We required a short term lease option and decided to go with Flexed based on their reviews. I can honestly say this is the best experience we have had with a leasing company. They had lots of options to choose from, with various price ranges to suit a budget. The lease was flexible and accommodating. The customer service was excellent, all questions and queries were responded to and everything was explained clearly. The lease was set up really quickly and we took delivery of our vehicle shortly afterwards. The whole experience was seamless and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Flexed or use again if we needed to in the future.

avoid!

trading as auto horn as well. went to them as needed something short term and quick.

Jonathan Traves is the worst and most dodgy person to ever work in any company not alone in a position of finance. i used a family members card for the one off payment for delivery and he kept those card details even though he knew they weren’t mine. then he decided to use that card knowing it wasn’t in my name to put over £1000 on it. provided proof that he shouldn’t of charged that card and rather than just refunding it has made the card holder go through a whole charge back process even though he had no authority to use those card details. i don’t know how he works in his position. either the company is really dodgy and fraudulent or he is. stay away!!

Trying too extort money from me with lies

So last Tuesday my direct debit wasnt in for collection. I'd been in hospital and mistakenly thought it was Friday

I rang Thursday too update my details as had a new phone which I bought since being discharged. I have an app I always download on my phone that records all my calls. Which I'm thankful of.

Anyways I ring Thursday spoke too tom Holland explained situation was willing too pay and any over charge and I'd ring back Friday I gave my new details too him and the girl who originally answered the call.

Friday I rang when office was shut so first thing today I rang too resolve this as up too now had no issues with the company and happy with car and still have it too January.

Then I get told it's passed for respossion fair enough.... But then... They acknowledge on several occasions I updated my contact details and made them aware of a two week hospital admission.... So the girl who was nice enough says I'll check with Tom and rang back. One hour later she does says it is still being repossessed I'm too late and the company tried too take the car at the weekend.... As I stay with an Ill family member, and was in all weekend except for 30 minutes this was news too me!

She then goes on too tell me a card was even passed through our door.

Having CCTV front and back I made her aware of this and I would not be paying 255 pounds but did say I'll check it first.

Few hours go by Same girl all this is recorded... Again tells me this company appeared for the vehicle... I then explain I've looked over everything and unless it was Amazon or royal mail no one attempted entry front or back....

It gets even stranger

Someone from the 3rd party interloper company rings he's all over the place changes story 3 times all recorded then he says

AH we just drove the front too see if we could see it will that's nonsense there's parking at the front a bus stop is right outside...

Then I make him aware of the back clearly as he's never been here he backtracks a bit and says I'll hand it back too her.

We have private parking you see round the back allocated too each household one way in one way out

Several people have cameras etc as does the factor.
The calls today I've just listened back too and Thursdays

The situation Thursday was definitely I could pay I did change details and it isn't my fault if someone hasn't updated it

As for the made up story for escalation and changing story today on several occasions that's definitely something I'm considering passing on too the financial ombudsman. Morally as well you'd think being in hospital two weeks they would give you more than three days too pay

I contacted them two days after payment bounced gave up too date details that were never corrected

Avoid at all costs these lies are a form of extortion by fraud
