I booked a bus to vegas last october. they cancelled or changed my bus 7 times. then the DAY I WAS LEAVING i got text sorry trip cancelled. wtf is that you cant cancel someone on day of trip. disgusting stressful ruined my whole day. then i called these clowns and some guy probably in another country who barely spoke english put me on hold forever then said no its fine all is happening. if all is fine why did they text me the trip is cancelled? its so unreliable you cant believe anything they say. disgusting. then i called again and a woman told me the trip is fine but hour earlier leaving one hour earlier. NO TEXT NO EMAIL NOTHING ABOUT THAT ONLY a cancellation text. omg they are ridicuous how can a company operate like this? the ceo should be fired they should be shut down. not okay and paying to be treated like garbage. so i went and the driver was rudest woman ever she was so mean and angry and rude to everyone disgusting. cant believe you have a driver who is monster. not okay paying for this? ill never use these people again EVER.
then coming home today from las vegas i booked to return to hollywood and highland of course they changed it. the driver said they dont go to hollywood and highland anymore they only take you downtown la. THEN WHY IS IT OFFERED AS AN OPTION IF YOU DONT GO THERE. I HATE THEM. plus their stupid app and website wouldnt let me pick my seat and because i had no assignment this disgusting awful driver made me wait for EVERYONE TO BOARD BUS then i got the last seat in back next to another idiot.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with FlixBus on my trip from Edmonton to Calgary Airport.
The bus was delayed by 118 minutes, which almost caused me to miss my flight. Because of this situation, I was forced to find alternative transportation and pay again out of my own pocket just to make it to the airport on time.
What shocked me most was the company’s attitude afterward. Since the delay was technically “under 120 minutes,” they refused any refund or compensation and kept repeating their policy instead of showing any real customer care or common sense.
A delay of nearly 2 hours for an airport route is absolutely unacceptable. Hiding behind a 2-minute technicality while customers are stressed, stranded, and risking missed flights is not good service.
Very disappointing customer support experience overall. I would strongly reconsider using FlixBus again for any important trip.
Customer service is useless, Flixbus needs to be more flexible. There is no way to edit your location of departure, customer service cant help you edit or rebook your trip, and the bus tracker doesn't work. My bus was 15 minutes late and the app didnt tell me, the tracker couldn't locate my bus, and the customer service agent couldn't either and just told me to ask again in 15 minutes. Im 5 hpurs from home and the only solution they had is keep sitting there and maybe a bus will show up, maybe not. This service could have left me stranded. Completely unacceptable.

I booked a trip from Edmonton to Calgary on 6th May 2026. I am waiting at the stop as I write this review. The bus got delayed by 2 hours!!! I originally come from a 3rd world country and have never experienced such a delay. Will never book on flix bus ever again and I shall uninstall the app after my trip.Do not recommend this.

If I could rate, I would rate in minus. The worst kind if bus you would ever experience. There was no coffee holders and pockets to keep your necessary items handy. I had 14hrs of trip and the fan was not working at all the whole time. The bus drivers don’t respond and a lady driver from Columbus, OH, has arrogantly egoistic attitude as she owns the customer. If you complain to the customer service chat, there are some Indians they do not know how to response, wrong spellings, wrong communication skills and huge linguistic barriers and takes a lifetime to reply. The most funny thing is, no matter how early you cancel or change your trip. They charge you all up and you have to pay again for new/renewed booking. Moreover if some minute amount of money to be refunded, it will be through vouchers. And yet they do not provide instantly. You have to go through the hilarious and hectic conversation with half deaf customer service people.

I have raised 2 complaints with regards to the cancellation of today's (3 May 2026) 6:15 am coach from Swindon to London, which I was informed of at 6:30, and requested a refund on my inbound trip from London to Swindon at 20:30 tonight - because you cancelled my outbound trip so how can I use the return coach, right? However, I received dull responses on both of my refund requests, which were far from accommodating my request and nor there was a proper apology. Flixbus cancelled my outbound trip without giving any reason, and trying to get away by keeping my money that I paid for the inbound trip.
All you advise is ME TO CANCEL MY RETURN TICKET, so that you can apply "cancellation fee" which is only £2 shy of the full price. So practically you are trying to make me cancel the return trip and keep almost the full price into your pocket. This is scam.
Choosing Flixbus and what a beautiful way to ruin a Sunday!
I had used Flixbus in the Europe before. But this was my first and last time to try FLIXBUS UK. I will rather go for other companies and actually be at my destination, rather than paying money and still being left at the bus stop without any compensation. Apparently this company is run by a bunch of irresponsible people.
I am going to spread this unreasonable service as far as I can, and advise everyone to avoid Flixbus at all cost. I'm starting with Google reviews.

I’m posting this review only because I hope it might be helpful for anyone who loses an item on a FlixBus in the future. The short story is, if this happens to you, go ahead and report the lost item to FlixBus. But also immediately call them and find out which local company operates the bus you were on, and call them directly as soon as possible. Do not rely on FlixBus to find your item!!
Long story - my daughter forgot her suitcase in the cargo hold after traveling from Seattle to Portland. She reported it to FlixBus right away, and the system told her to keep checking back, and it could take up to two weeks. She checked every day, and about a week later it said the suitcase was found (yay!), and to please wait for an email to tell her how to get it. That email never came, and she finally called and talked to an unhelpful human who at least gave her the name of the local bus company (ecoShuttle in Sherwood). Unfortunately, it had been two weeks by then, and they had no idea who had found it, or who had logged it as found, or what eventually happened to it. Very frustrating to think that if we had just been told by FlixBus to contact ecoShuttle directly right away, we might have recovered it.
Learn from our loss, and don’t trust the FlixBus lost and found system!

Took a FlixBus from Mont Saint Michel to Paris. Sadly none of the advertised services were available on the bus. There was no toilet, no wifi, no charging ports, all of which FlixBus says are part of the service. The air conditioning was haphazard and was turned up on the second half of the journey, slowly cooking us all. Would not recommend.

The service is faster than Amtrak but their cancellation policy is bs. Each time I cancel I have to pay the full price of the ticket, even when rebooking to a different date. I even had to cancel to get on at a later stop, a stop that WAS ALREADY IN MY ORIGINAL TRIP. If you make any mistake while booking you can end up paying 2-3x the original price of the ticket.
EDIT: Flixbus did reach out to me, but I am not satisfied with their response. All they said was that based on their terms of service they offer no refunds in case of modifications. This still applies even if you're modifying from A -> B -> C to become B -> C, with the same bus, the same route, and the same time. If you are somebody who occasionally makes mistakes while booking please be aware that you will be charged.
