We had a flood in our house, and on recommendation from our insurance company, we purchased this product. Pretty straightforward when talking with the rep (I didn't know I was talking to a reseller, so felt a little bad when I went through the insurance-contracted plumber as I just assumed that was what I was suppose to do.) Anyway, operates as discussed and no issues for the last several months. Only comment is that we never checked with any other product company, so I have no idea as to how it compares to other systems (that's why I took off one star).

I've had Flologic installed several years ago in my vacation house without the need for it until this winter when there was a short to the thermostats that control the heat. A pipe in the upstairs bathroom froze, expanded, and then cracked. After the house warmed up, the pipe leaked a small amount of water only to be shut down by the Flologic system. Without the Flologic system, the house would have been flooded. Flologic should be installed in ALL houses.

Leak detection function works great.

The control unit is very sensitive to AC power source input. When the generator is powering the Flologic the control unit signals AC power fail even though voltage is within standard tolerance. When the control unit is powered by a standard UPS the control unit signals AC power fail. Very annoying.

Excellent and timely service over the years.

Great device to prevent water spillage. When a faucet is on past the allowed time the system shuts off the water, and the unit beeps. It is flawless and works very well.

We had the unit installed about 5 years ago. It has helped us a few times - once when a toilet valve started to leak, another time with landscapers left water on and a few other mistakes we made. Easy to press a button to turn off when we leave for vacation. Great peace of mind, plus it works well. Great customer service. The two owners have helped me a lot when I had tweaking questions.

I like this product but it is a little pricy for what you get. With simple tweaks in the technology it really could be wifi enabled with active flow and usage data. It could be more than the "circuit breaker for your home" and it could be a whole house water monitoring system. GPD, multiple settings for shut off- example being slow drip over a long period or a sudden high gpm flow.

Install 10 years ago. Works as advertised. Required replacement battery three times. Identified several leaks from running toilets. Used system to shut off all water while on vacation and prevent, if required, any unplanned running water in the house. Helped to spot broken hose on bathtub spray unit. We are very pleased with the Flologic system.

Very glad I had Flologic installed in my house to limit damage to unexpected water problems.
One suggestion: I wish there were three modes: home, away, AND NIGHT. The Night mode could be set for a water flow between home and away.

The system has been installed for nearly 2 years. My experience has been that in the "away" mode, the unit often either malfunctions or is actually measuring a very small leak because it often trips into the "leak" mode. When this happens and we are in the home, a careful check does not reveal any sort of visible leak. The good news is that in the leak mode, the water at the main is shut down and no water can enter the home from the main. If there should really be a leak somewhere, it will stop as the water at the main has been shut down. It is easy to reset and I have been told by the company that there is no harm in having the water shut at the main.

Great product. Easy for the homeowner to operate. Have recommended this product to several friends.

No need to worry about plumbing leaks. Great complement to a burglar and fire alarm system. Easy to use; virtually maintenance free.

I have a second home that is vacant more often than not.

I use flologic to monitor my home water to make sure there are no leaks.

I tied it in with my home security system so ti goes on whenever I activate the home security.

I has given my great peace of mind over the lat 6 years I have had it installed.

We had problems in the first 30 minutes and have continued to have problems with this system. It is difficult to control, goes off when we are away without issue, and causes anxiety when we have visitors. I dislike it immensely.

get product that works very well
you never have to worry about water problems again
it truly works as advised
insurance companies should get behind this product ans it would reduce premiums and claims

The flologic water monitor has been a great addition to my homes, giving me the peace of mind that if there is a water problem the device will shut off my water main before the problem becomes an expensive one!

Not only do I love my Flologic...My Insurance Company loves it so much they have recommended it, and the man, who put it into our house to a number of their clients. After all the research I did, I made the best choice.
