I visited this store a few times before finally deciding on my flooring. Ashley was very professional and not at all pushy. I took 3 samples home to check in my home. I then ordered and the laminate was delivered to store in a few days. Ashley again helped me load my car with the many boxes. Nothing being too much bother. The carpenter I had to lay the floor commentated the excellent quality of the laminate. I am extremely pleased with the floor, and my visitors all remark how lovely it looks. I would not hesitate to recommend.
Very happy with the complete service received. James was very helpful advising me on the flooring which was adequate for the intended job.
The Hedge End store staff were wonderfully helpful and incredibly knowledgeable
Ordered 2 packs of 10mm laminate flooring (Harbour grey) delivered to Merthyr store, after picking the flooring up I realised they had given me the 12mm version which wasn’t compatible with the 10mm already laid. Emailed and phoned numerous times to resolve the issue with the same reply “leave it with us and we’ll get back to you” yet no call back ever happens. Been weeks now trying to resolve this issue and fed up of ringing.

Great service, great staff, great price. James gave fantastic customer service and stored the flooring until it could be fitted. Kevin fitted the carpets, he was also very accommodating as I had to rearrange on at least 3 occasions. Based on my experience I would highly recommend them. Thank you Floor Giants and Kevin.

They helped me through a few difficult situations, 1-choosing my flooring, 2-the right design, 3-temporary storage until I was able to find time & space to store my flooring, when I was ready.

What started off as a positive experience with Floor Giants Swansea, has slowly turned into an absolute nightmare.
We have spent nearly 3 grand with them on both laminate herringbone flooring and carpet, and whilst we have no complaints about the herringbone flooring, we are very disappointed with the service we have received in relation to the carpet.
We initially purchased our herringbone flooring back in January, and returned a few days later to get a quote for carpet. We were made to feel like we were getting a really good deal, and went with a slightly lower quality carpet than what we had quoted elsewhere to bring the cost down. We were told that if we ordered a 4m roll and a 5m roll of carpet, the 5m would also be enough to cover the box room, which we were told would save us money as we would not need to order a separate roll of carpet for this room.
It has now become very apparent that this was a lie, and was a ploy to secure our order with themselves instead of going with our previous quote from elsewhere.
Fast forward 2 months, our carpet fitter was ready to fit the carpet for us, and very quickly picked up on the fact that there was not enough carpet. It transpires that the manager had since been sacked due to his incompetence, and us, the customer are having to pay the price. We have now had to pay £480 extra for another roll of carpet, taking us above our original quote elsewhere for a better quality carpet, not to mentioned the extra £90 we paid for the 5m carpet in the first place, which we have not been refunded, despite it being an error on your member of staffs behalf.
We were promised that the carpet would be delivered to the store this week, so that our carpet fitter could finish the job, however we have just been told that it is not in stock. Our carpet fitter is now not available after this week. I am 7 months pregnant. We do not have time to wait weeks for this to be sorted out.
Overall, we are nearly £500 out of pocket, and feel like we have been conned into purchasing the carpet from Floor Giants. We are massively dissatisfied that what initially seemed like a positive experience has become so negative.
Excellent sales with Jordan and Manvad . Pleased order on a Monday and received it Wednesday by a professional company. The Warwick oak is fantastic looks really expensive and we would Definitely recommend Floor Giants Derby and the product they sele .
I chose this store based on the consistently positive reviews highlighting excellent customer service and support throughout the process. As a first-time buyer, excited to put my own stamp on my home, I truly believed I would have that same experience. Sadly, it has been nothing but disappointment — and it continues to be so.
During the initial stages — measuring and selecting the flooring — the in-store team were helpful and professional. However, once payment was made, the service declined significantly.
I had to call multiple times to ask when the fitting would take place, despite being assured that the fitters would contact me directly to confirm a date. Eventually, after repeated chasing, I was given a date. Unfortunately, this is where the real issues began.
The fitter arrived at 1pm on the first day and informed me they had only been allocated two days to complete what they believed was just the downstairs of the property. They stated the house would not be completed within that timeframe. This was clearly a breakdown in communication and planning.
I was told they would return the following week (in December) to complete the work. After numerous calls and emails, they eventually returned in February — two months later.
Despite contacting the store repeatedly, my calls went unanswered and my emails received no response. Throughout this process, I have been made to feel like a nuisance for simply asking for the service I had already paid for.
When the fitter finally returned, they once again arrived without sufficient materials to complete the job. I was then told, very bluntly, that they would not be returning to my property as it was “too far out.” Being told in my own home that the situation was not their problem was extremely upsetting.
I am devastated. What began with high hopes, thanks to the in-store team, has turned into a stressful and ongoing ordeal. I am now left with unfinished flooring and the added frustration of having to purchase the remaining beading and door bars myself for a project I have already paid to have completed.
If you have the option, I would strongly recommend considering alternative stores or arranging a fitter independently.
Jordon at Culverhouse Cross Cardiff was extremely helpful when we were choosing our carpet. His communication after our order and up until our fitting date was excellent keeping us updated.
Our fitters were Mike and Col. They were very professional, extremely tidy, cleaned up and took all the offcuts away. We can honestly say they were the best carpet fitters we've ever had. Thank you all!
DERBY FLOOR GIANTS - can’t fault the attention and service provided by all the staff at this shop. It made the experience of selecting artificial grass easier. The grass was delivered the next day earlier than expected but ideal. Will definitely consider products from this company. Thanks to all of you and being so dog friendly. 😂

My experience was appalling.
They had plenty of sales patter and promises to get an order but that soon morphed into blatant incompetence on every level once they had secured the order.
4 times fitters were booked, 4 times I was let down because incompetents employed in the Hedge End branch couldn't get the very basics right.
One pair of fitters they sent bore all the behavioural traits of rogue traders with their surly attitudes, misogyny, excuse making and a completely absence of any digital footprint for checking credentials and reviews.
Hardly 'giants' when it came to customer service and delivery !
Customers should also be aware that being honourable is not a strong trait of this company as there is no process for escalating complaints - basically any complaint is handled by whichever wide boy chatter mouth is employed that day.
I took a refund, and have since dealt with a rival company who have provided a far superior service and product.
Ordered and fitted flooring then had an issue with boards separating. Asked to send in photos etc but then could not ascertain issue from photos and wanted to send someone out ( No issue so far) Person visited and agreed there was an issue and flooring was fitted correctly.
Floor giants then decided to send claim to their supplier ( supplier, not fitters) who from photos claimed flooring was not fitted correctly. Then passed round business. Eventually paid for an independent flooring specialist who said there was an issue and flooring fitted correctly. He, on our behalf, went to the manufacturer who resolved the issue. Flooring Giants were absolutely useless and tried everything not to resole the issue

Ordered flooring 27th Dec, 7 to 10 days delivery into store.
Waited till 9th Jan given that we had New year, phoned the store, gentleman said leave it with me ill chase it up and phone you back. No return call.
Monday 12th phoned store, leave it with me ill phone you back. No call back all day, phoned again end of day they were blaming head office for the issue. We will phone you back either way tomorrow morning at latest.
Tuesday afternoon still no phone call. Phoned head office to be told i will chase up purchasing and phone you back, i said that seems to be a common theme. Was told id get a call back by end of day. No call.
Thursday phoned head office again. Was told oh yes i remember speaking to you. Was told that my items had been discontinued they cannot supply but i can choose something else, i was told that "Kevin" from the Swansea store was supposed to phone me to explain?
I can choose something else - no thanks ill get my money back, oh i cant do that over the phone i'll ask the Swansea branch to contact you.........

Yes no issue with product being discontinued as title stated customer service was poor with 5 commitments to calling me back but nobody ever did even the guy from head office.
Went to store and the guys were very helpful in processing my refund. So thanks. Wouldn't put me off going to your store again but was honest feed back on how my service turn out.

The service I have received from Gaz and his team in Hedge End, Southampton, has been first class! Went into store and was greeted warmly by the manager Gaz. He was very patient with me and helped guide me to good quality flooring option, with in my budget. Before we proceeded he arranged for Harry to visit my home to do a free home measure. He was again very patient and very knowledgeable. After receiving the quote the same day, I decided to go ahead and also opted in for their fitting service. On the day of my fitting, my fitter turned up just after 9 and cracked on. After a few short hours he was done and the floor looked amazing. He tidied up after himself and made sure I was 100% happy with the end result, which I was!
I highly recommend floor giants, and will be definitely returning there when I decide to do the next room in my house!
