AVOID !!!!!

AVOID !!!!!! Wouldn’t even give 1 star. Absolute worse company and worst experience! Andy the owner is a horrible human being! His fitter Tony does not know how to fit carpet, left the carpet not even fitted into the skirting and caused damage to walls, leaving a mess behind where there was half full glue cans with lids off thrown on the new carpet, Andy has very poor customer service skills and when informed about the poor fit and damage , Andy was extremely rude and abusive over the phone call and in person where police had to be called due to his behaviour being aggressive and violent. Shameful! Please everyone avoid!

Northgate Flooring

Recently had Northgate Flooring fit LVT in my kitchen. The initial visit to the showroom in Aldridge was really good, the guy in the shop was extremely helpful and gave great advice regarding the flooring we selected. Where our experience fell down was the fitting. The flooring was laid 30mm off centre although the fitter disagreed. Two trades people have both said it is not straight. When it was being fitted I asked the fitter if it was going to be covered on the one side by the kitchen plinths to be told it would. Once laid there was a gap on the one side. The fitter returned and laid some additional strips but as they already laid the screed the new strips were fitted half on the new screed and half off it, once the plinths were put back it lifted the visible edge of the vinyl. I refitted the new strips myself having to use thicker adhesive to ‘level’ the strips. On his return the fitter also relaid some lifting edges and I asked him to refit the price by the back door as it was badly cut. I also had a real job cleaning the adhesive the fitter spilled on my garage floor tiles and all this whilst going through cancer treatment!
A really good shop experience and communication from Andy was spoilt by a poor fitting experience. Shame…
