Florida Legacy Construction is a licensed Florida building contractor (CBC1268994) based in Ocala. We work throughout Marion, Sumter, and Lake Counties, including Ocala, The Villages, Wildwood, Leesburg, Summerfield, and Belleview. Most of what we do is kitchen and bathroom remodeling. We also build home additions, accessory dwelling units, custom homes on private lots, whole-home renovations, and commercial build-outs for restaurants, retail spaces, and offices. How we work: we pull the permits, keep one point of contact on the job, and put the full scope in writing before anything starts, so you know what's included and what isn't. Change orders get priced and approved in writing instead of showing up at the end. Licensing matters more in Central Florida than most homeowners realize. A lot of remodeling here gets done by unlicensed handymen, and people find out the hard way when a permit fails inspection or work has to come back out. Our license number is public. You can look up CBC1268994 on the Florida DBPR site before you hire anyone, including us. We do in-home estimates. If you want a rough number over the phone first, we'll give you one and tell you what we'd need to see in person to tighten it up.
