Most unreliable air company ever!

Most unreliable air company ever!! We had a long planned 6 day trip to London planned. Without notice, Norse Air moved the departure day one day early, and the return date one day later, thus adding 2 unwanted days to our trip. Many things had to be changed, not the least approx $2000 additional costs. I have flown over 2500 flights during my life, and have never experienced anything like this. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMBER....only useless AI!!!

Now i am in a mess trying to sort out new plans for my travels. i just want to speak to somebody. Frustrating !!!!!!!!

Worst Experience- AVOID

A groups of us booked flights with Norse on 26 December 2025. It was our first time using them, but knew a few friends that had travelled with them without any problems.
On 31 January 2026, we received emails saying our flight details had been changed, bringing my return journey forward by one day and effectively shortening the holiday. While we weren’t happy about this, it didn’t completely disrupt our plans, so we decided to accept the change.

However, on 31 March 2026, we received yet another email notification that the flight details had been changed again—this time far more significantly. The departure flight was moved two days later, and the return flight was brought forward by an additional day. Massively disrupting our holiday plans and making the trip unworkable.

As a result, we had no choice but to cancel the booking, request a refund, and rebook with another airline—at a significantly higher cost than if we had originally booked elsewhere in December.

I am extremely disappointed with the service. There is no accessible customer support or contact number to speak to anyone, which only adds to the frustration.

My advice: save your TIME, MONEY, and avoid the STRESS—avoid Norse Atlantic Airways!!

Do not fly with Norse airways!

Do not fly with Norse airways!
They are the worst airline I’ve ever flown with, they charge you for everything, trying to rinse you of every penny you’ve got! Even charging £7.50 for a pathetic thin blanket, not a single offer of water or food! On the way home we were a family of 3 checking in together and they charged us for extra luggage weight of 2 pounds between 3 cases bearing in mind we didn’t have the 10 kilos hand luggage each that was included with our flight, so we asked if we could take the 2 pounds out of the case and put it in our hand bags to be rudely told “NO get to the back of the line if you want to do that”! We’d already stood in the line for an hour and half so if we’d have done that we’d have missed the check in and flight, so we had no choice but to pay the $70 fee! The staff are so dam rude, no one cares about the passengers being happy, it’s a disgraceful company, I will vow never to fly witn Norse again as long as I live!

Would never recommend

Would never recommend. No customer service and my issue is still outstanding after two months with no word from Norse at all.

Firstly, my flight from London Gatwick to JFK was cancelled at late notice. As a direct result, I was forced to purchase alternative flights at a cost of approximately £900 in order to reach my destination.

Secondly, my return flight from New York JFK to London Gatwick was changed to the day before my original booking without any notification to me. I only became aware of this change by chance, after receiving an email about seat selection which displayed a different travel date to the one I had selected and confirmed. Had I not noticed this discrepancy, I would have missed my return flight entirely.

The impact of these issues has been significant. I lost a full day of work, had to book additional time off, incurred approximately £200 in non-refundable hotel costs, and lost pre-booked dinner reservations. In addition, the situation caused considerable stress and required extensive replanning at short notice.

I have not heard from anyone from Norse and am unable to get in touch with anyone at all which is a disgrace.

Had no choice returning from Bangkok to…

Had no choice returning from Bangkok to Gatwick. Paid £2500 one way. A lot of money but needed to get home.
Heard lots of bad things about this airline.
Our check in was spot on. Straight forward with very helpful staff. Our bags were on the weight limit but not a word said by the check in staff.
The flight took off bang on time. The aircraft was clean and very roomey. The cabin staff was friendly and very helpful. They were available all 13 hours of the flight. Would definitely use them again.

Shameless overbooking

If I could give zero stars I would. We were one of the first in the check in line to fly to Florida from Gatwick. They told us to come back two hours later as they had oversold and as low priority passengers we might not make it on and had to wait and see if anyone was a no show.
We’d booked months ago and paid to select our seats so it’s really poor they allow this. We eventually got on the plane as several people didn’t show, but zero customer service. I know all airline overbook nowadays but there was no apology, not even a complimentary meal or drink ticket for making us stand at check in for three hours waiting to see if others didn’t show- even though we were stood there with paid for seats. Whole thing was atrocious.

NO HUMANS ONLY BOTS

If I could give this company -1 star I would. Flying back from New York to London in December (days before christmas) our flight home was delayed by 7 hours once we passed security, meaning we were stuck in the airport. I submitted a claim to Norse back in December, they didn't register the claim until January and I am still yet to hear back. You go to their chat service and the bot refuses to put you through to a human and there is no telephone number. The bot will take your email address and you will get a generic email stating they are dealing with a lot of claims and that is that. I have asked to raise a complaint, speak to management, to be contacted etc to no avail. This is the worst service I have ever received and god knows how people are coping when they are stranded abroad and having to deal with the Norse claims team.

Where is Customer Service?

Overall I had an OK experience with Norse. The flight was 6h late, waiting on the plane, for an 11h trip. I was told I could get compensation. I made a claim and sent them another email after not hearing back. They got back to me and it was quite smooth UNTIL they sent my details to the finance team and told me I’d get a refund within 14 days. It’s been over 2 months and despite several emails they have stopped replying! Also my partner made a claim in October same time as me (we’re now end of March), as his suitcase was broken, and still hasn’t heard back.

I would have been happy to fly with Norse again but the lack of customer service is actually insane!

Bargain Price May Not Be

Round trip tickets to Rome, Italy. Return flight delayed, then cancelled due to Norse operations event. Charged and paid for return flight, seat selection, bags checked. Flew home via another airline. Norse's policy NO REFUNDS. I paid for services not received and they kept my money. Learn from my mistake, a bargain is not always a bargain. If you opt for this airline, investigate if it is cheaper to add flight insurance or consider another airline.

Booked and paid for flight, for it to be cancelled two days before I travel and never reimburse me.

Booked and paid for flight. Two days before departure, on Christmas Eve, the return flight was cancelled. I've reached out Trip.com, where I booked the tickets, they told me to reach out to Norse.
Norse customer support is absolutely ridiculous. They have a chatbot that barely works and couldn't find my flight, then said an agent was going to reach out to me via e-mail, which they after over a week of waiting, just to tell me to fill a claim on their website.
I filled the claim right away, they said they would respond to it in 6-8 weeks, and it's been three months and I never heard anything from Norse ever since then. I've followed up several times via e-mail, the only contact option they have, waited after the due date, and they never got back to me.
I was never reimbursed for the flight ticket that was cancelled, and neither for the new flight I had to book that they asked me to open the claim.

Great service.

Great service.
Flight attendants amazing. I had never heard of this airline and prior to flying read the very mixed reviews but it was my best flight ever including both long and short haul ( I am a frequent world traveler).
Flight date 13th March 2026 from Bangkok to Manchester direct.

Potential thieves and profitting off of a war!

We were very lucky to have booked a flight directly home from Bangkok prior to flights via the Middle East being cancelled. A few days before boarding our flight, we recieved an email to say that the flight was overbooked (due to the war) which resulted in stress and us turning up to the airport several hours earlier than we usually would. Once on our flight, another passenger informed us that the company was profitting off of others flights being cancelled by putting their prices up to over £1000 per seat which is disgusting. Payment was also expected for basic things such as blankets and headphones which meant a 13 hour flight with no entertainment. We were fed once within that time and were extremely hungry by the end of the flight with very little options for food to purchase (for a ridiculous price). Once I finally got home and opened up my checked baggage, I found that my jewellery case had been opened and all of my sentimental rings, bracelets and necklaces were missing. I have contacted the airline about this and after being passed from team to team I was basically told that jewellery should be packed into hand luggage so they couldn't do anything and would accept no liability. None of my jewellery had financial value but was very sentimental and the airline takes no responsibility. Seems like a great gig for staff - they can take things from trusting customers bags and theres no penalty. I am so upset about my jewellery and just want it back, I have collected it from markets from around the world and it means so much to me. I would never board a flight with Norse again even if they paid me and will be discouraging my friends/family from doing so.

4 months and no refund for a flight they cancelled

Booked a flight to New York on the 26th September 2025 for my sisters birthday. Outbound 9th December 2025 - 12th December 2025, for a total of £1,296.44 (with add ons). I get an email from Norse on the 15th November telling me my flight has been cancelled and we have been put on a flight for the following day. which meant we would have lost a whole day in New York and basically only gone for 1 full day, we would have also lost money on stuff we had booked to do out there. i decide to book a flight with British Airways - thank goodness they came to the rescue, but this came at a price of £1,177.84.
after researching for any kind of means to a customer service support line i had to fill out a compensation form which i did on the 18th of November - and provided my BA information so they could see what this cancellation had cost me. i was told to wait 6-8 weeks for a response, which in itself is laughable since they cancelled the flight i shouldn't have to reach out anyway, a refund should have been provided straight away, but anyway i thought i would give them the benefit of the doubt and wait for their reply.
as predicted no one came back to me after 6-8 weeks so i filled in a second compensation form - i was informed since this was my second request it would be taken more seriously and yet here we are another 6-8 weeks later with no response. i will be filing my third compensation form today, but if anyone has had any success in getting a refund i would love to know how you did it! to be honest, i don't understand how Norse is even a legal company.
i would also like to point out i stilled used my Norse flight to travel home on the 12th and only requested compensation for the outbound flight they cancelled, but still nothing.

Conmen - dishonest company who just dont care

I am chasing a refund from a flight from August 2024, they still haven't refunded me despite reselling my ticket - my wife was allowed to fly and she sat next to the new ticket holder. I emailed face booked and hand wrote to their Norway, Gatwick and London office - they have given me reference case numbers and done nothing - please get you act together and treat people like you would like to be treated.
