FNAN is a wonderful charitable…

FNAN is a wonderful charitable organisation founded three years ago to bridge the gap within the immigrant Eritrean community in terms of accessing a broad range of services including advice, sign posting, mentorship, and education. It is run by professional volunteers who share in their knowledge and expertise free of charge to the community at large. The concept of FNAN; meaning resilience is one that is engrained in the Eritrean culture and easily understood by many as encapsulating the ethos of service to others within the ongoing struggles of life and the joy that comes from doing so. Therefore in my experience FNAN embodies its founding principles of service both in name and deed since its founding.
