It’s amazing organisation

It’s amazing organisation. Runs by volunteers. Also it’s the only organisation you can turn to and they will help you during your difficult time. Being a father, you don’t get much help from citizen advice bureau as people, assuming they will . Families and needs fathers goes with you the extra mile. From my own experience, I have struggled being on low income also no help from legal aid for been a good father . ( no domestic violence, ). The amazing people at families need fathers they help you at no cost they attend with you to court they help you with statements when you are ligament in person. What else I can say there isn’t any words to describe this volunteers and the work they do to help you.
Keep up the good works

Felt alone and lost/ FNF and David saved me

I attended the meetings at a very low point in my life due to the circumstance I found myself in and not being able to see my children.
I found the group really welcoming and David in particular very worldly in the advice given and compassion shown to each individuals need and very much kept the meetings on track and focused on the separated parent getting the best advice and chance to re connect or maintain a healthy relationship with their child/children.
I will forever be thankful for that time in my life when i literally felt alone but wasn’t. Thank you David for all the hard work and effort you put in
you are a hero

Fantastic support line

This is a fantastic support line! Fortunately, I found myself in a vastly different situation to those around me and therefore was unable to find direct advice.

However, I noted so many fathers in the same boat struggling with similar issues, receiving help, advice and mental support from more experienced fathers. For many, it's a lifeline.

It was devastating hearing of some fathers not having seen their children in "years" due to minor altercations that their ex had planted against them.

I'm no one to judge the nature of the fathers attending, nor did I know whether or not they were in the right or wrong, but one common thread that consistently lingered above all else was how the justice system biases mothers against fathers.

I'm one of the lucky ones who benefitted from the court and managed to obtain a solid 50/50 arrangement. Most fathers are not so lucky.

This group helps to alleviate some of the pain, provides guidance on how one should mechanically behave in order to gain the courts' systematic and corporate bias, and offers mental strength to those who need it most.

Great experience

FNF - a charity that helps fathers and not only, helps the entire family without all of them knowing. Their meetings are very helpful as it is the place where you can learn from others experience and stories.
Furthermore I can tell that is the right place where one can get an understanding about the family law and what they need to represent them selfs to the court.

Families Need Fathers, what an amazing group of people who run this. A wealth of experience and knowledge to help a parent in need. Fantastic group, I’d be lost without the guidance provided!

If the group itself cannot help with a specific issue, they can refer you to the best individuals available to provide the support you may need.

FNF Essential Support

Ian and Greg have been a fantastic guiding light through the dark and awful process of child access through the family court. Their knowledge, support and warmth have been an essential element in order for me to stay strong and keep moving forward for the sake of my incredible daughters. I'd like to thank them with all my heart.

Unspoken heroes

A fantastic charity that offers real and immediate assistance to parents denied contact with their children, most often at the hands of narcissistic ex partners.

Guiding you through the traumatic, unjust and biased minefield of family law, FnF are the unspoken heroes of so many saved children's futures.

That this charity is unfunded by government is a travesty.
They are without doubt - the finest set of people working for the greatest cause, so often hidden from the public eye.

They save lives.
If you can support them......please do.

Families Need Fathers is inclusive!

Families Need Fathers is an inclusive organisation that supports mothers, fathers, and ultimately children. I have personally found their support to be invaluable and truly believe it has saved my life and helped me become a stronger, resilient, and positive human being, father, and husband. They have educated and coached with my own personal development, positive co-parenting, positive parenting, and Family Court and the legal/court process. In that order. The peer-to-peer support is unmatched...I've never experienced a more active and supportive group of individuals brought together by a single goal - Happy Families!

I've been a member for 3 years and I cant recommend this organisation enough!!!

Awesome grassroots group of fathers who…

Awesome grassroots group of fathers who are willing to sacrifice themselves in financially and time terms to ensure that their children do not feel that their fathers have abandoned them facing their usually uncooperative former partners and expensive/time consuming family court system not to mention worse than useless government organisations who hinder and discourage, undermine justice for children in this family court system they know who they are but these anti-father organisations are normally yet another hurdle that FNF can help you overcome with enough time and money you might actually get to see your children hopefully without private and expensive contract centres involvement for years to come and this is very typical result of the broken family court system that you must get expensive and timely legal support but hey unless you have millions you need a Mckenzie friend is yet another thing that this group can help you with..

Effective, practical help through the minefield

FnF helped guide me through the strange minefield of family court and allied services. After flailing in court for about 2 years and seeing my 4 year-old son relatively little, FnF helped me understand how the system works so that I could better put forward my case and my son's best interests. I ended up with nearly 50/50 and a lives with both order, and this is largely due to the help of FnF. We are forever grateful.

Very helpful when divorcing my abuser

Very helpful when divorcing my abusive, manipulative, controlling ex who was trying to keep me away from my child. Created an atmosphere of support that works for men, makes talking easier than it otherwise could be.
