Do not purchase from them

Do not purchase from them. I bought a telescope that was $2500 as a Christmas gift. It arrived later than it was supposed to and then only one box of 2 was sent. When I called them they said the listing was incorrect and want me to return the item. Alternatively they offered me $100 credit to keep it. $100 doesn’t even cover the taxes. You want me to ask my gift recipient to return the item because of your mistake? Pretty shitty customer service. I don’t know why you don’t have a part that comes WITH the item from the manufacturer.

Refurbished Dell Latitude 7430

I bought a refurbished Dell Latitude 7430 14.0 FHD Touch Intel i7 1265U 32GB 1TB SSD Win11 Pro Laptop off ebay from this store to replace a failing 10 year old laptop and couldn't be happier. Good price (I can't afford a similar brand new computer and don't need "this year's technology", a 12th generation Intel cpu suits me just fine), good communication, fast shipping, laptop looks brand new and is performing flawlessly. Would definitely buy from again.

The company is legit

The company is legit. I was hesitant at first to buy at lifestyle by focus because when I checked the reviews it has a different company name as focus camera. it turns out they are the same company. I bought an EVOC travel bike bag pro at lifestyle by focus with a very great price compared to other and arrived in a week from New York to LA California.

Return policy is not consumer friendly

Return policy is not consumer friendly. I was shipped an incomplete order. Thought I was purchasing from bed bath and beyond and found out it was third party with completely different return policy after the fact. The old bait and switch. I will be canceling my bed bath and beyond membership.

Ordered a camera through their website…

Ordered a camera through their website for a Christmas gift and was worried it wouldn't arrive in time as it seemed to stop getting updates in the tracking. Called customer service and spoke with them. They reassured it would arrive in time and contacted the carrier for me. It began moving again and arrived in time! Beautiful camera and works perfectly. Will definately continue to order from them!

I order TWO Testo 310 Combustion…

I order TWO Testo 310 Combustion Analyzers from this seller through Amazon. BOTH units were defective. Focus was willing to do nothing to rectify this situation and just said I could return the second one as well.

The first unit: Would not turn on at all. ‘Lifestyle by Focus’ offered no help but said I could return it. ‘Testo’ the manufacturer said they couldn’t help because it was bought through a 3rd party seller and not them.

Second unit: Turned on, but came with an error code! Error code 04 meaning the oxygen sensor was defective. Called ‘Lifestyle by Focus’ for some help, they said sorry and I could return it again. I am now out 2 weeks of time, $1100, and I still need to get another working meter before the end of the year to finalize CAS tests for my customers.

Don’t expect any help if you receive a defective unit.

Is This Business Legitimate?

Found a good sale price on an item and ordered it. After two weeks, the status of the order listed as "Processing".

Went through their Support system on the site, received an email the next day saying I needed to call the "Verification department".

Called, the recorded message did not sound like a business line. Somebody named "Anna" saying to leave a message ... which I've done three times.

It's been over two weeks, no order, no status and no answers. It looks like they may be offering aggressive sale prices on Phantom Items, in order to drive traffic to the site.

Recommend steering clear of this company, it looks (to me) like a scam & sham.

Slow on everything

Slow on everything. Service dept is closed mid-afternoon on Thursday. They've had my money for 3 days and no sign of shipment for my DJI Action 5 pro camera. I sent an email yesterday asking about my order and got an automated response saying that they would review my request. No response today. Are they closed or just non-responsive.
Update! The camera did come in. BUT, they're not available in customer service. They did not answer my online inquiries. They did not send a notification of shipment. Uping to 2 stars. A solid 2

Ordered a Sigma Lens thru Amazon/Focus…

Ordered a Sigma Lens thru Amazon/Focus Camera. After two weeks the item had still not shipped and they were awaiting "Payment Confirmation." Thankful I was able to cancel the order thru Amazon and was credited back the purchase price. Would not buy even a stick of bubble gum from Focus Camera again.

Terrible Service!

On 07/10/2024 I ordered a ADE Advanced Optics RD3-012-PRO Series Red Dot Sight with Motion Activation Technology (Black). I was sent a ADE Advanced Optics RD3-012-NON-PRO Series Red Dot (Black). These are two very different models with different designs and specifications. I contacted them and was given a RMA# and a return postage receipt (UPS). I sent the "wrong" item back along with a copy of the original receipt and the RMA# inside the package. According to UPS tracking, the Focus Camera Wearhouse received the returned package on 07/18/2024. I did not receive a refund or hear anything back, so I contacted Customer Service Specialist Eliesha on 07/19/2024. Her response was "Our warehouse is in the process of reviewing your return. Once your return has been processed and approved, we will be able to issue a refund." It is now 07/23/2024 and I have not received a refund or heard anything back from Focus Camera. It is important to note that the item in question was immediately removed from the Focuscamera.com website after I requested a full refund. This is unacceptable service!

I was interested in a Sigma 150-600mm…

I was interested in a Sigma 150-600mm Lens for my Canon and after several hours of reviewing online prices, sellers,reading reviews and watching You tube videos, I made the investment and purchased the lens from Focus Camera based on the research. This was my first purchase from this seller and I was a bit cautious. I have had mixed experiences with Big Camera Shops in NYC, both exceptional and not so much.
Based on my recent experience, I would definitely purchase camera equipment again without hesitation from Focus. They had the best price on the lens and offered a bundled package which made the purchase with the filters and Sigma Dock, even more attractive. The service was exceptional and extremely timely. Unfortunately the shipping box came damaged with a small item missing. They made it right by sending out the item the very next day. I was able to talk and text with real people who were genuinely concerned and helpful. It was a great buying experience and I highly recommend Focus Camera

I'll be shopping elsewhere.

To start, product said "free 2 business day shipping " purchased on a Saturday, expected it to arrive on Wednesday(if shipped on Monday). They did not use the 2 day as stated, it arrived the next Saturday. When it did arrive, one of the items was a different size than what was ordered(scope rings) making the whole package unusable for my application until I got the right rings. I sent Multiple emails to the company with zero response until after paypal stepped in. Ended up going through paypal buyer protection to get a refund to cover the right set of rings from another retailer.
I will pass on buying from focus camera in the future.
