Did 8 days Lemosho Route and everything from the beginning until the end was perfect. Good organisation, positive vibe all the time, very good food ( didn't expect that on the mountain). Great crew and great supporting guides. I am happy that I chose followalice. Keep going

We recently took Follow Alice’s 9-day Northern Circuit climb of Kilimanjaro. Thank you Follow Alice for organizing such a great trek! The Northern Circuit is a beautiful and remote route up the mountain; we met only one other hiker on the northern part of the route.

We truly appreciated the guiding team and the entire crew. Everyone was exceptional and worked seamlessly together throughout the trek. We are especially grateful for our lead guide William and his assistant guides Rama and Amadeus’ patience, leadership, and support. We could tell that they know what they are doing; William was constantly being recognized on the mountain by other guides, and had great stories and wisdom to share. We appreciate all their expertise and how well-rounded they were. William, our waiter, helped us stay punctual for meal times and took great care of us throughout the trek. The entire crew’s contagious energy and constant encouragement (from passing the porters on the trail to our time at camp) made a real difference from start to finish. Every single member was happy and willing to help whenever needed. We cannot recommend them enough to anyone.

The equipment the company provided/rented was good; tents, sleeping bags, and down jackets worked well, as did the poles. The thick fleece liners for the sleeping bags were a great addition that allowed us to regulate our temperature at night.

We have absolutely no regrets in choosing Follow Alice for what was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Asante sana!

6 day Rongai Route trek up Kilimanjaro. From the point of enquiry to full execution of the trip, the Follow Alice team were amazing.

There’s always an element of risk booking these types of excursions but I can’t fault this company one bit.

The trek itself is a major operation, tents, food, water, toilets. Trevor and his team were exceptionally organised, and I was highly impressed by how ‘together’ they were.

I ended the trip a day early after a successful summit, and the Follow Alice team were on point to arrange transfers and hotels without any hassle at all.

9day kili climb, I climbed the northern route i feel is perfect for the more senior travler (like myself 67 age) the route is longer great for acclamations a more to see of the landscape. The support, encouragement and help from lead guide through all ranks was inspiring. I had a wonderful time with my 5 travel buddies (now i can call them true friends) thanks FollowAlice

The trip of a lifetime! I had the most amazing time with follow Alice climbing Mera Peak in October and I couldn’t recommend this company more!

It was by far the biggest expedition I have ever done but I always felt comfortable due to the amazing support from Puru going into the trip. Puru was there for me from the very start, answering questions, helping me select which trip would be best for me. After booking the trip, Puru was so supportive in the run up to flying out, incredibly organised and would always answer any queries I had - whatever they were!

Follow Alice put me in more then safe hands when I was in Nepal, Sonam our Follow Alice rep in Nepal was brilliant and more than looked after us. They put us in an amazing hotel, made sure we got flights (even if they were hard to come by)… Sonam was fantastic.

Thirdly, the whole trip wouldn’t have been possible without Rinji our Sherpa! One of the most best people I have ever met, always looked out for the group, ensuring that we were always comfortable and safe when climbing. Rinji made sure we were always well fed and looked after in the tea houses and always went the extra mile for our team. Rinji always took our oxygen levels in the evening to make sure we were safe and acclimatising well which definitely made the group feel more comfortable. I couldn’t have achieved this without Rinji!

Our porters were also incredible people, who just showed real strength each day, making sure our belongings were safe and sound. We were always in safe hands throughout the trip and I couldn’t thank them more!

Finally, our expedition sherpas were just brilliant in making sure we made the summit even when it was incredibly difficult. Regardless of how tough it was, I always felt safe with them and I couldn’t appreciate their support more - some absolute beats of people!

It was an absolute trip of a lifetime and it wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support of Follow Alice. The company showed me a different side of life, meeting the most amazing people in the most incredible climates.

I couldn’t recommend this company more. Rinji, Sonam, Puru and the rest of the team were just sensational!

The support received from Puru is excellent. He is very knowledgeable on matters relating to trekking and offers excellent advice.

We had a great trip to Peru for the four-day Inca Trail hike. Our guide, Greco, not only guided us on the trail, but was the leader of city tours before and after the hike. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the sites, history, botany, and Quechua culture. It was like having a professor lead our tours.

Eber, the driver was fantastic and we felt very safe in the van.
On the trail, the team of porters and the cook were impressive and we are grateful for their hard work. The food was delicious and abundant.
We made a last minute change in our itinerary after the hike, and the Follow Alice contact, Craig, local coordinator, and local staff made the changes very seamlessly.

I completed the Everest Base Camp trek with Follow Alice in October 2025, and it truly was an incredible experience. From the first contact to the follow-up after the trip, everything was smooth, well organized and genuinely friendly.

The team in Nepal was fantastic. Sonam, our contact on the ground, was always available, helpful and professional, and he made us feel confident from the very beginning.

Our guide, Dawa Sherpa, was outstanding! He handled every situation calmly, whether it was changing our flight plans due to weather or finding the best accommodation. I had a few difficult moments on the trail, dealing with period cramps, kidney pain and altitude headaches all at once, and he supported me with patience and care. He never pushed taking unnecessary pills, but focused on the right pace, proper food and staying warm. Seeing other groups on the trail made me realize how lucky I was to have him as a guide.

Our porter, Amrit, also deserves a big thank you. I really appreciate the weight limits Follow Alice has in place. I saw porters from other companies carrying extremely heavy loads and it was hard to watch. Amrit walked with us comfortably and even stayed with me when I was slow or feeling off. Meeting his family and Dawa's along the way made the experience feel even more special.

Finally, thank you to the Follow Alice operations team — especially Puru, as well as Michael, Craig and Jess. Your support made a huge difference.

What an amazing trip. Our guide Dawa was amazing. Caring, personable and full of information. Looking after us as a group and individually. Felt like he really cared. We were lucky with the weather until the end when it turned and now flights out of lukla. Sonamg was top who sorted us helicopters there and back, not only saving us a couple of days hanging around(and a 5hr trip either way on terrible roads) but also organsied us some sight seeing in kathmandu all at only a slight expence. The hotel in kathmandu was wonderfull and the staff there were also very attentive. All in all it couldnt have been better. It is etched in my mind as one of the best experiances ive had. I will definately look to them for further adventures

I have just returned from EBC trek in Nepal with Follow Alice, which included helicopter return to Lukhla.
This adventure of a lifetime exceeded all of my expectations! What an amazing experience.
Pre-trip guidance from Puru was excellent, our guides Dawa and Ferba were knowledgeable, caring and fun. We were well looked after on the trek and Sonam G made sure all of the logistics happened when it was needed most. A massive thank you to the whole Follow Alice team.

I have just returned from an unforgettable experience trekking to Everest Base Camp with Follow Alice. I was very impressed with the team, starting with Puru who was incredibly responsive and made sure all questions were answered and that we were fully prepared for our trip. Dawa is an experienced and excellent guide who ensured he kept a close eye on us all as individuals, whilst mentoring Furba (the assistant guide). Thanks also to Sonam for bringing helicopters into our lives when we most needed them! The meals, teahouses and additional bits of sightseeing really added to the whole experience. I have no hesitation in recommending Follow Alice for this trip!

I have just returned from Nepal after completing a trek to Everest Base Camp with FA. The whole trip was very well organised with good pre-travel advice from Puru and a great guiding team led by Dawa. Also a special shout out to Sonam in Kathmandu who managed to sort out helicopter transfers at very short notice when the weather turned against us.

I couldn't be happier with my experience on the Lares and 2-day Inca Trail trip. I wanted to hike to Machu Picchu but was also looking for something a bit off the beaten track, which is exactly what I got! Mario, our guide, was a local and knew the Lares area like the back of his hand. He was also fun, personable, extremely knowledgeable and highly experienced. He really made the difference between a good trip and a great trip.
The porters and chef/cook were amazing. We had sit-down three course meals when hiking and the food was incredible. So fresh and tasty. Having our own private port-a-loo at our stops was first class!
I was impressed with FollowAlice's pre-trip coordination/communication and their attention to detail during the trip. This was my first trip with the company but it definitely won't be my last.

I've just finished my third trek to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania—a 9-day journey along the Lemosho Route with FOLLOW ALICE.

I cannot stress enough how this company truly goes above and beyond for its adventurers. Our group consisted of eighteen friends and coworkers, ranging from seasoned hikers to beginners, all united by our goal: reaching the summit.

The support we received from the Follow Alice team—both their office staff and ground crew in Tanzania—was outstanding. Meera, our Tour Coordinator, was endlessly patient and kind. She kept us well prepared with packing lists, Zoom calls, WhatsApp chats, and answered countless questions. Thanks to her, we arrived in Tanzania ready and confident.

Before climbing, we enjoyed a few local excursions, and on the eve of our hike, we got an extensive briefing from Chris, our Head Guide, and met his assistant guides. We discussed every detail of the route, picked up rental gear, and grabbed our wonderfully cozy sleeping bags.

Across nine memorable days, we faced plenty of challenges, shared laughter, and pushed through tough moments. Our guides and porters buoyed our spirits with humor, encouragement, and practical advice. Their constant care kept us feeling healthy and ready for each new day. The guides rotated leading duties, so we really got to know them, and our porters always greeted us at camp with clean tents, tea, and popcorn!

Mealtimes were a treat—the food was impressively varied and tasty. Dietary needs within our group were accommodated effortlessly. Evenings ended with refilled hot water bottles to keep us warm and cozy overnight in our sleeping bags.

Since tent camping is essential on the Lemosho Route, I recommend bringing a small tarp for the tent entrance to avoid tracking dirt inside and a tent lamp (we used a solar Luci lamp), which is handy for early sunsets and early mornings.

Some of my favorite memories come from waking up to tea or coffee and a bowl of hot water for face washing and brushing teeth—the ritual affectionately known as "washy washy."

In the end, eleven of us reached the summit, while those who chose to stop along the way were cared for by our guides and returned safely to the lodge in Moshi. They joined us at the final gate so we could celebrate everyone's achievements together.

I had the trip of a lifetime on my Mount Kilimanjaro climb and 2-day safari tour with Follow Alice! This was my first time traveling solo, and I was admittedly nervous at first — but the team made everything so easy. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and every detail of the trip was well organized. The guides were knowledgeable, encouraging, and so much fun to be around. I could not recommend Follow Alice enough for anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure!

My second trip with FA (Inca Trail in May 25). This trip was the Kenya safari adventure following a few days in Zanzibar. Amazing on all levels - the safari took in Samburu (where we were fortunate to see a leopard with its kill) and all the Samburu unique wildlife. The Mara safari was the final part of the trip but after we had had a boat safari to Crescent Island (where we had a walking safari within touching distance of zebra and giraffes) and visits to Sonali (rhino safari) and Retiti (elephant sanctuary). Mara was incredible and the final day balloon safari ended with sundowners within 10 metres of a pride of lions (inc 6 cubs). Incredible trip, seamless organisation, top notch hotels, vehicles and drivers. 100% recommended

My fiancée and I just got back from a 2-week safari and Zanzibar trip with Follow Alice, and honestly, it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The communication before and during the trip was great super responsive and the whole team was so kind and really cared about making our trip special.

Our safari guide, Allen, was AMAZING. He always seemed to know exactly where to be, and because of him we got to see the Big 5 (and so much more). That part of the trip blew us away.

On top of that, they helped us plan our wedding ceremony in the Serengeti, which was beyond anything we could have imagined. It was perfect.

The second half of our trip in Zanzibar was incredible too. Everything was arranged for us transfers, flights, pickups and we never had to wait on anyone. The places we stayed were beautiful, and the whole trip just flowed so smoothly.

This was by far the best trip we’ve ever been on, and we’d recommend Follow Alice to anyone thinking about going to Africa. Huge thanks to the whole team you guys are the best!

I had such an amazing experience with Follow Alice doing the Inca trail! My guide Greco was amazing, he taught me so much and him and the team couldn't do enough for me.
